Loved the building and the staff was all nice. This was my first visit - I asked for an expert in a particular thing and was paired up with a young girl who barely had salon experience. I asked her to do my hair a certain way and she just flat out didnt do it how I asked her to do it. This was in respect to both the color and the cut! Then, before she was finished with my hair - she ran off to start on another clients hair and never came back to show me what I had asked her to show me about styling my new haircut. When the bill came, there was nothing on there describing which price I was given (they have a list of different charges depending on the level of expertise of the person doing the work). There was no breakdown on the bill of the charges I received. It was just a credit card receipt that was supposed to be signed. What I would like is: 1. If I ask for an expert - then put me with someone with years of experience - not a newbie. 2. If I ask you to do my hair a certain way - dont outright ignore me. You can give me suggestions as to why you would recommend or not recommend something...but the final say is mine. 3. Dont promise youll show me (2 minutes) how to do something and then run off and disappear when a new client arrives. I needed to know. 4. All charges should be itemized on a bill that is easy to read and figure out. The status of the person doing the work (their category for billing purposes as per your brochure) should be stated up front at the time the appointment is booked.

I am very particular about my hair; Im a "long-hair person," and while I try not to be too picky and a pain in the butt, I do want my hair done a certain way, and I want to make sure that Im listened to. Meagan, my stylist here, has always taken the time to listen and to do my hair exactly the way I want it. It isnt easy to find a stylist you really mesh with, and Im so happy that Ive found this salon! The salon itself is charming as well; you can relax and know that youre in good hands here.
