Couldve gotten a better service at Great Clips. I was rushed through, and didnt even get what I asked for. Initially I was excited to get a haircut here because of the phenomenal reviews from online and friends, but I was highly disappointed with the outcome. Firstly I explained what I wanted, then she started without even prepping my hair (which is important because of my obviously thick hair). So from there she just started making the fade and once she finished the fade she asked how it look, as if she was finished. Then I reminded her about the other half of the haircut I asked for, then I had to show her a picture of the exact hairstyle I wanted then she quickly did the rest of what I asked for (barely). Then she started with the shaving cream and razor, she was really rough with the razor and it scratched my neck, which didnt hurt it was just very uncomfortable. So in the end I had a haircut that I didnt ask for, that wasnt even combed. Like I said before I had extremely high hopes but was quickly let down.

Haircut looked good but the woman cut my ear with a straight razor while she was looking at her phone and didnt apologize and charged me full price. Also fairly snobby--im 31 years old and have a good job but look like a 20 year old redneck. Was told "hold your horses youngster" when I asked where to sign in. Great haircut but they rely on the gimmick of an old style barber shop (lots of hard wood, straight razors, etc.) Instead of service. I know how to hone a razor too folks; no need to talk to me in a condescending manner because I have a baby face.

Jaret cut my hair when he worked in Alpharetta. I was always impressed with the excellent job he always did and his attention to details. When he told me he was going to open his own shop in Canton I was happy to hear he was going to be closer to home for me. When you get good service and quality work you expect to pay more but at Barker-Jackson you get all that at a price that will not empty your wallet. Guys if you care about your hair and the way you look and do not want just another chain style cut give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Ive been going here for years as its the only place that seems to consistently cut my hair correctly. Theyre friendly but they dont ask you a million questions or try and force conversation which suits me fine as I dont really like to talk much when getting my haircut. Its very adult male orientated in my opinion, no bright colors or attempts to sell you on any wacky hair products. Plus that hot towel massage they add on the end always makes it worth it.

Absolutely fantastic place. Bit of a wait, but youre waiting for the quality, which is okay. I went in week before last, had no idea what I wanted, just kinda told the barber some stuff and hoped for the best. I walked out happier than Ive ever been with a haircut. Not only that but it was only like $3 more than Great Clips.

Dean has been cutting my hair since I was 8 years old, and always does a great job. Overall, The staff is very friendly. Ive had all but one of the barbers cut my hair-and Ive gotten a quality haircut each time. Im also extremely picky and anal about getting my hair cut, and they havent let me down yet.

David and Laurie are the best! It is so nice to have your hair cut by people who take the extra time to make sure that it is done right and exactly how you want. Cant say enough about how good this place is. Forget about those "get you in, get you out quickly" shops. This place blows them out of the water.

Authentic Barber shop for men. No sports bar theme w TVs blaring ESPN. The staff know what they are doing and trim beards and mustaches as well as give great haircuts. Prices are reasonable but you def should call ahead and make appt. They get very busy.

I have been to several other barber shops but now Barker Jackson is my permanent barber shop. Being a business professional, my haircut is always important. I have finally found a place that can get it right every time. They are true "Professional Barbers!"

Took me a number of years, but finally found a place I trust to cut and style my hair without fear of walking out looking like my head was run over by a lawn mower. Fair prices for quality. Wait times can be upwards of an hour, but totally worth it.

Rafael has cut my hair 2 times now and i have never been happier. He is very friendly and does a killer job. I have cow licks and thick hair. Very difficult to learn to cut it but he makes it look easy and great.
