I brought my 3 year old son in to get a haircut today June 11th, 2015. I didnt set an appointment but their website clearly states "walk-ins" welcome. I walked in at 8:15 am shortly after they opened. We were never greeted; in fact, not only were we not greeted, none of the barbers even communicated. There were 3 barbers at the time we arrived. The barber to the right at the first chair was on his ear piece talking on the phone the whole time, literally. During the time I was there, he had 2 customers. I mean, who talks on the phone the whole time while cutting hair and doesnt keep their customers engaged? Very unprofessional and rookie. The barber at the first chair on the left cut one head and then left. I asked him if he had an appointment and he had to go to his sons baseball game so, definitely understandable; no qualms there. The barber at the last chair down on the left cut 2 heads and I thought I had a chance of getting my son in with him but after he finished his 2nd customer, he took his keys and went to his car although he didnt go anywhere, walked right past me and didnt even bother to ask if we needed anything. There was another customer who had walked in right before we did and he ended up leaving and going somewhere else, which is also what I ended up doing after sitting there for 45 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement or customer service. As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words (whether verbally or written on a website) and clearly walk-ins are not welcome! Barbershops are supposed to be a communal place, a place where individuals feel welcomed and comfortable and we did not get that experience what-so-ever here. I guess as long as the owner has his little worker bees paying their booth fare every week or month, they dont care. Needlesstosay, I will never do business at this establishment and will make sure to tell individuals who are looking for a place to get a cut to not even waste their time with this place and in my line of business, I refer people a lot of people to a lot of places for various different services. This was a very disrespectful experience and I cannot remember the last time I had any such similar experience. There have been studies done on businesses that operate in this exact type of manner and the individuals those owners hire to work for them. I made my Exodus over to Cruz Cuts on Main St. where my experience and the customer service and environment was exponentially far better than the poor, lackluster one I got at this location.

I moved to Atlanta about 2.5 years ago and one of the top things I looked for when I arrived, aside from a local church to attend, was a barbershop. This was super important to me as I was starting my first career job. I was nervous because my last experience with a new barber during my clinical rotation in another state was terrible and resulted in me doing my own hair for the 3 months I was there after that initial terrible visit. But since I was relocating permanently to Atlanta, I had to find a good barber. I googled barbershops in Atlanta and after reading the reviews, my gut told me to check out Exodus Barbershop. I went there and Dan, the owner of the barbershop, gave me my first cut in ATL.... Let me tell you that he has been cutting my hair ever since! Ive been very pleased with their service and appointments and would definitely recommend this barbershop. Check them out!

Ive been in ATL FOR 20 plus years. About 4years ago I called my homie JR BARBERSHOP and said yo.... I need a good barber. He said go to Exodus and ask for Dan Brown. I found it was like 40 minutes away from my hood. Because my homie said try it..... I muscled up there. Its been 4 plus years!!! Best cut in Ga. Good convo from religion/politics/sports to shows like Game of Thrones! They acknowledge and respect kids in the establishment with no foul language or vulgar music. I am a barber watcher - Everybody in there can cut any and all genres! Thanks for upholding the community and spreading good cuts and council to Ga. PEACE

they just loss a loyal customer. not all but some barbers in there are very unprofessional. its one in particular thats the only female in there who feels like she just poppin like that. she gets mad because I showed up late for a appointment but when Ive made appointments you show up 30 min late with your breath smelling like a fresh pack of new ports. I even gave this girl a extra 7 dollars for me being late. they only have 1 person in there that will take walk-ins because everyone in there "has a appointment ". if I could give this place a 0 I really would because you try to support black business but they dont do people right

This is the best barbershop in GA period! I moved to Atlanta in October 2012… At first, I went to barbershop after barbershop and each time I ended up with a horrible haircut. I searched online for barbershops in GA and came across Exodus Barbershop. A long story short, I ended up calling Dan and scheduled an appointment. Dan gave me a “fiyah” haircut. I have been going to Dan on a weekly basis ever since! All of the barbers in this shop are talented. I definitely recommend Exodus Barbershop to everyone I come in contact with. Hands down, this barbershop is # 1.

I have been a client for over 15 yrs! What i am impressed by most about this barbershoo is the fact that Everyone of the Barbers at Exodus are excellent barbers! There are times that my schedule was conflicting with my barber (Dan Brown) the owner. So i had to have one of the other barbers cut my hair & it was seamless in terms of quality! Most all of my family are customers of Exodus!! Go Get Your Best Cut @ Exodus!!

To chad who left the long story about how bad this place is you sir either make an appointment like every one else, or sit down shut up and wait! Or go to super cuts but what ever u do STFU!!!

Friendly environment and EVERYBODY in the shop can cut!! That one experience in 2010 kept me coming back. They really live up to their name, BEST BARBERSHOP IN ATL!!

This shop was recommended to me by a friend who told me all the barbers were good. I booked an appointment with Q and was not disappointed. She is nice with the clippers and the razor. Shop was clean and everyone was professional. I enjoyed the vibe and will be going back weekly.

Dan always does a really great job on my hair. He isnt afraid to try something new and he listens when I come up with a new style haircut. If he is running a little behind, he always lets me know. He is a good guy. Couldnt ask for a better barber. Hes been my barber for over 5 years
