I would give this company a negative star if I could. I had an experience with Laura a few years ago where I was on the fence about taking a position at a large law firm in St. Louis. I am a Paralegal and have an Associate degree in same. At the time I was working with a firm that was awful and I was trying to find a way to get out. The managing attorney had a God complex and the rules kept changing and I would get into trouble for just speaking. How was I supposed to do my job? Not only that but my hours were crazy where I would leave work at 7 or 8 at night and still bring work home and work until midnight or later then get up and do it all over again. Which affected my family life. I could not just quit without having a job in place due to financial issues. I put up with it for almost a year. Then I came to Laura and she had me a sure deal but it was not as a Paralegal and the pay was not comparable. I told her that. I did get a counter-offer from this firm. However, it came with a time limit that I was unaware of at the time because I got called into a mandatory meeting. And because I did not respond in that time frame (I was too late) I lost the job and Laura was not nice about it because it made her look bad. She did not even respond to my explanation to circumstances beyond my control. I did tell her that I would have accepted the counter-offer and walk out of my current office immediately if I would have known in time. I just found a new position online that I inquired about and sent her an email and she replied back to me and told me that since I did not take the position that I was offered before she would not work with me. I again responded with the fact that the circumstances were unfortunate and beyond my control at the time. She will not reply back to me. I would never recommend using this company or any other staffing company for that matter. They are all a joke!

AvailAbility is an amazing company to seek quality employment through; whether they are used to assist an individual who has just entered the workforce to a seasoned employee seeking further development. Their altruistic values in an individual’s success, steadfast commitment to a company’s prerequisites, and boundless efforts, guarantee the “best fit” for the individual seeking employment and a company seeking employees. I began my journey working with Laura, at AvailAbility, in 2013. I was placed with a “career” that fit all my prerequisites, my wishes, and my own personal attributes with and in a company. She took the time to evaluate my skills, areas of expertise, and qualities verse the company’s morals, ethics, values, and requirements. I was immediately placed with a company and later hired for a permeant position. Since working with Availabilty to seek my own employment, we have requested employees and hired permeant positions for two employees. I am confident that any individual, truly seeking valued employment in the workforce, will only gain from the employment assistance with AvailAbility.

I moved to the St. Louis area in early 2011 for personal reasons, and needed to find flexible employment. I worked with Laura at Availability who was quickly able to find me a short-term data entry assignment near my parents home, where I was staying. As my situation stabilized, she found me a full-time assignment at a company, where I was hired permanently a few months later, and am still employed today. I appreciated that Laura was understanding of my personal situation, and that Availability could be flexible as my circumstances changed. The only downside to Availability was that the Alton office, where testing and interviewing took place, was not convenient for me, and the Fairview Heights office wasnt always open when I tried to stop in. However, Availability helped me at a difficult time in my life, and I especially appreciate the role Laura played in getting me to my current career.

I have been with this so called "company" for over a year now, and thank the good lord that my last day is Friday! When you ask them about why your paycheck is late, they blame it on the bank and not that the OWNER cindy, didnt get the payroll done on time. Its amazing, that they are getting high dollar fees from their clients, but cant seem to pay their employees on time! Im so glad Im done with this company. If you do not want to deal with the stress and drama the owners create, stay far far away! They are terrible and no business ethics. Your all probably thinking Im a grumpy employee, but Im not. In fact, Ive never been in trouble one time! Im leaving on my own free will, and cant wait to tell Cindy what I think of thier crappy company!

I cant say enough great things about Availability (Laura in particular). After the last company I worked for went under, Laura reached out to me with a permanent position at a law firm in St. Louis that matched my skills and experience perfectly. She gave me positive feedback on my resume, along with very helpful advice that came in handy for the interview. I ended up starting less than two weeks later at the best job Ive ever had with the greatest company to work for. Laura even goes the extra step to check in and congratulate me on anniversaries! She has truly been a pleasure to work with and I cant thank her enough for the opportunity provided to me.

I found an ad for a job near my home in Missouri, but it said that I had to travel to Alton, IL for the testing and interview. Laura was very attentive and got me all the information needed for the company interview as well as what was expected from me at the interview. This was a direct hire position. After getting hired, Laura followed up with me to make sure that all was going well and if the company and I were a good fit. 4 1/2 years later, Im happy and thriving where I am. I have sent several others to see them and they have had no complaints. Thank you Laura and Availability, Inc.

Mrs. Gray paired me with a highly corrupt company that had an obvious agenda, putting myself and my family at extremely risk. Walking into this womans office was maybe the worst decision of my life. I hope whatever they paid you was worth being an accessory to crime. It makes perfect sense now why the e-mail for this position magically appeared in your inbox the moment I sat down at your desk after initially agreeing to interview me for a completely unrelated position.

Any time I have had a question or issue, Laura handled them personally, professionally and promptly. They even go the extra mile to reach out on anniversarys to congratulate you.
