The stylist are great, but the only issue I had was with a policy. The light skin lady at the front desk hound me for wating on my daughter as she got her hair done. The lady told me that the owner policy was if I wasnt getting my hair done then I couldnt sit in the lobby. I feel as though if you have a child thats 16 and under being service then you should be able to wait. I spent my hard earn money in there for my 14 yr old and then you tell me I cant wait on her. Not to mention I live in Oak Park, so its not like I live 10-15 mins away from the salon.

I LOVED my hair, however, I had to give a 2-star rating. When I arrived for my appointment, the hairstylist was not at the shop. I waited for about an hour and was finally called back to get my hair washed. After having my hair molded and sitting under the dryer, I ended up waiting another hour until I was called to get my hair cut and styled. The stylist was also a bit rude, until she asked me how I liked my hair. Although I loved my hair and was very pleased with the finished product, I wouldnt go back just because of the awful customer service.

I go to this Beauty Salon to get my hair twisted by Tammi...she charges 65 dollars for maintenance...SHE IS GREAT...she can take nothing and turn it into something GREAT...I go to storm to get a lining when I get twisted up...he is actually one of the BEST barbers I have come in contact with ever...he also does locks, braids, exc....Both Tammi and Storm are two GREAT people that can hook you up and keep you looking good!! lolz

Issues is a great place to get your hair done right! Midge, the owner & stylist, works wonders on short hairstyles & anything you want done; & the price is so right! If youre looking for a place that not only can give you the latest cute hairstyles but will take care of your hair then go to Issues!! Anyone of the trained stylists are awesome but I personally know the work of Midge who does my hair & Lyn who did my Moms hair!

I am a previous employee of the salon. And the service from the owner and receptionist is unbelievable! Very rude a disrespectful when it comes to handeling business. They dont know how to speak to people. And the shampoo area and basement where the barbers are is DISGUSTING! And no one is licensed!! All the licensed stylist have left. Do not go here!!! I repeat do not five them any of your time or money!

Ive been at this shop twice for 2 birthdays. Each time, i got a sew-in from the stylist drea. She was asked me what i wanted done instead of doing what she wanted. My hair looked so natural that all my friends and family couldnt tell. I only trust her with my sew-ins. Will be going back for my upcoming birthday.

Poor service from the Owner down. I was warned about coming in and decided not to listen. Extremely rude and disrespectful to other clientele. If I could give less I definitely would. Unlicensed and unprofessional. You have been warned.

The guy in the front dont change his razor when cutting hair and I think thats unsanitary and taking and texting on his phone more then actually cutting hair
