This Goddard school is particularly great! We looked at several different schools, including another Goddard school which was actually closer to us, but really felt we connected best with Michelle and her staff here at the Lake in the Hills school. We drive an extra 10 minutes to have our kids attend. My son entered their Pre-K/K program when we moved here and it was clear after a few months that their phonics program was working well with our son. He loves to read now (before he goes to Kindergarten this fall) and comes home telling us all the activities he is doing. He learned, through a kid friendly program, how to play chess and now plays it regularly with my dad. The have a smart board in class where the lessons are interactive and hold the kids interest, I doubt most other programs have that. He does yoga, learns about artists and their styles (he came home talking about pointillism and impressionism) has outings such as martial arts lessons, has gone to eat lunch with the local policemen, and regular visitors come to the class from the library, nature center and a host of other professionals who open their eyes to the different things on our community. My younger son, who is now 3, also engages in fun and regular educational programs on a daily basis. They send pictures (with your permission) of your kids to you throughout the day so you can see what they are doing and the fun they are having. I can come home from work and immediately connect with what they have done that day as I have been looking at the pictures of their activities throughout the day. I am actually a bit sad that my oldest is headed off to public Kindergarten next year as I dont think he will be in as enriched environment as he is now, but I know he will be extremely prepared as he moves on next year. This is a fantastic school, the staff is wonderful, and they do a wonderful job making learning fun and interactive for kids!

My son has attended The Goddard School for alsmot two years now (we were at previous centers before) and he and I both love it! He gets to learn so much beyond what other daycares offer. He enjoys the bonus of the gardening they do every spring! The staff there is amazing! You cant really ask for better teachers or administration. My son has a chronic health condition and from day one they have worked with me to have him still involved in activites with kids his age and be able to excel at his age level. Michelle is always there when you need her for any questions as well which is amazing for an owner! I wouldnt take my son anywhere else!

Two of my children have attended The Goddard School in Lake in the Hills and we couldnt be happier about it! Hands down the best preschool/daycare anywhere in the area, especially Huntley school district. Every single person that works there truly cares about the children and loves their job. My kids love going to The Goddard School and its a wonderful feeling as a parent to know that your child is being not only educated, but also loved and nurtured!

As a new Mom, you never feel as though anyone could care for your child the way you can. My son is turning one tomorrow and I would only want my son to continue to grow and develop with the guidance, ongoing support and care that his Teachers, Administrators and Owner provide. The support, encouragement, and kindness shown to each family is beyond exceptional. We are thrilled to be a part of this learning community.

The care and attention to the children is beyond expectation. I currently have a four month old in their care, who is doing beautifully! I highly recommend The Goddard School to any parent. The teachers genuinely care about the children and its so wonderful to see the details in the work they do everyday! Two thumbs up for The Goddard School!!

Both my daughters are students here and the facilities and staff have been fantastic over the past 4 years. The oldest is headed to kindergarten in the fall and I feel like, thanks to Goddard, shell be well beyond what theyll expect of her (even if she is the youngest kindergartener there!)

We loved this school. They treated my family so well. The cirriculum is outstanding and everyone at the school from the director, down to part time help was wonderful. They are truly dedicated to children and their education. Outstanding facility!
