An extremely fun place to walk with your family. A lot of sites to see along the way and even a few restaurants. You can have picnics along the side as there are many grassy areas that are great for hanging out and there is more than just one way to travel the canal. You could walk, jog, run, use a bike of your own or rent one, you can use a multi-person bike oh my you can even travel to Canal itself with a paddle boat and at times a gondola. It is also very pet friendly. Just make sure your animals are on a leash so they dont fall into the canal. It is a long walk, but there are many places to sit down and enjoy the views.

Ive lived in Indy for only 2 weeks and I visit the canal nearly every day. Its nice way to get downtown without having to deal with crosswalks/traffic. There are many exits along the canal in case you need to go up Indiana Avenue or the culture trail. It is pet friendly but they dont have any doggy bags at all so make sure to bring your own. There are several places to get a bite to eat along the canal (Burgerhaus and I believe a cafe.) They also have gondola rides and paddle boats available. Its a nice, pleasant walk and I recommend it to anyone visiting Indy!

We hosted my sisters wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! We unfortunately had some trouble with the staff while getting the wedding set up. It seemed that every person that got assigned to our wedding either quit or went on vacation during the year we were planning the wedding which made some things entirely too complicated. The venue itself though was amazing and beautiful. The catering company that is used with canal 337 was also incredible. The food was so good and my sisters wedding was wonderful

Very clean and well maintained canal walk. I walked the entire path in about an hour. Very relaxing evening stroll. Many runners and bikers, so be ready for that. No public facilities so dont need to use the restroom.

What a great place for sight seekers and anyone who wants to exercise. In the heart of downtown, I was involved in wedding pictures and they were flanked by cool architecture ambiance.
