Like the previous Google reviewer stated, if you want to take your vehicle to a repair shop that will perform unneeded repairs and charge dealer prices, then by all means try Palo Auto repair. I complete all maintenance on our vehicles and have for 20 years but when I was in a pinch for time and needed an honest second opinion, these guys fleeced me. A little background - Im a mechanical engineer, farm kid who rebuilds cars top to bottom for fun, and previous auto mechanic with several ASC certified mechanics in my family with access to a full library of OEM service manuals, tools, tech service bulletins, and memberships to online auto mechanics forums... trust me I could go on... The point is that the charged $356 for a $50 "cleaning of the EGR valve" that requires opening the hood, removing two nuts, unplugging two wires, and pipe cleaning a semi blocked port. Just to support my claim, both local Honda dealerships charge $50 for the service and I can do this in my garage in 15 minutes (and I would have replaced the valve with the $50). If I think its worth my time Ill submit a complaint with the BBB in the coming days. I just feel sorry the the average person who is victimized by under qualified or unethical shops like these guys and doesnt posses the background to call them out or worse yet return to them for another round of fleecing.

Of course most people will only take the time to write bad reviews, but I wanted to take the time to write a good one as my experience with Palo Auto Repair has been excellent. I was having issues with my blower motor on my Kia which brought me to Palo Auto Repair upon a recommendation. Ive been to many repair shops in my day, but the people here were just great. Very friendly and the thing that I like the most..they arent some big dealer that only cares about numbers. Ive never felt as comfortable with a repair shop more than these guys. Highly recommended!

Had him do a heater core and now I cant have heat and lights when its cold out. And there is a main ground wire not hooked up which is probably my electrical problem most likely. Wasnt disconected before and no clue what it is or where it goes... Good luck!

Joe is a very knowledgeable and honest guy if youre looking for a local place for repairs. We take our farm truck there when its ailing - have been for 10 years - and hes kept it running...even at 270,000 miles. Lots of locals choose Joes!

Called to get my car worked on and a very rude lady told me they dont work on cars anymore...
