If you want real classical training for your child and not just a closet full of expensive costumes, then check out CCDC. If you want your child to enjoy dance again in an environment that is not competitive, then definitely check out CCDC. When we looked for a dance studio for our children we wanted a nurturing environment with excellent training. (I started to think that we could not have both.....) This studio is wonderful! The instructors are committed to the whole development of all their dancers. The students are instructed with correct body placement and terminology in a respectful and fun family friendly environment. (The students, faculty and other parents are friendly and the children are placed in classes appropriately, not willy-nilly.) We switched from another studio and have never regretted the switch; only regretted not switching sooner. I would highly recommend to anyone that they give this studio a try. Oh and it is affordable too! The prices are low and the training is high! How can anyone go wrong with that?

Missy and Emery Uyehara have taught me so much these past several years. They also invest in amazing principal ballet dancers this year from Colorado Ballet for CCDCs summer intensive June 6 - 17. I hope dancers from all schools take advantage of this reasonably priced opportunity.
