I have read a lot of great reviews here, especially about Angel. I called to make an appointment for color and highlights and requested Angel specifically. I arrived on time, but was seen late. No problem, I thought; it happens. Angel met me and applied my color. However, when it came time to wash out my hair, she passed me on to another person. I did not understand why and asked the woman washing my hair why this happened. She answered that she was in training. Angel then came to me to explain the same thing. I replied that I had not expected to have more than one person doing my hair as I was in the processing of finding a stylist. Despite my comment, and even though there were no other customers in the salon and Angel carried on conversations with the other idle stylists, she let the "trainee" continue with my hair. It got worse. When the trainee was applying conditioner to my hair, I realized that she never washed the color out from underneath my hair when I felt the color running down my neck. The trainee corrected the situation, but then Angel told me the trainee would also style my hair. At that point, I said no thank you and I would do my own hair. (I walked out with wet hair.) As the owner, Angel should have seen how unhappy I was with my service, especially given my expectations (I have never been to salon where I was passed off to a trainee without asking permission first), but she did not apologize or discount my services. I will not be going back here, and I would advise anyone that if he or she expects to have Angel do all of his or her hair, from color to cut to style, that this is not how she operates, as she told me that she never does all of these services, because of how busy she is.

To anyone that has not had the experience of having his or her hair done by Angel let me recommend that you change that immediately. You are in for such a treat. Beyond the bubbly personality, and the genuine person, lies a master stylist that will leave you spending way too much time in the mirror as you admire the stunning results. As a blonde, I have had too many bad experiences to even recall, and many of them, I’d never want to anyways. It can be so difficult to find a hair professional that understands the complexities and nuances of blonde, and is able to give an individual what they are looking for. Angel not only meets my expectations every time, she exceeds them, and always manages to deliver that something more that makes we walk out feeling like a million dollars. I travel from Utah to see Angel, and it is never a wasted trip. Wherever Angel is, she brings an unmatched level of excitement, new ideas, quality, and attention to the smallest of details. It is so exciting to see Angel as the new owner of Alpha, and I can’t wait to see what new and exciting things she brings to this already well-established salon.

Alpha Salon and Spa is hands down the first and only salon and spa I would recommend in the area. It changed ownership in November and continuously improves and strives to be the best in the area. Angel is a gift from above! I have always been picky about who cuts my hair and she never disappoints. She strives for excellence in cut, color, and ownership. Her scalp massage during shampoo is relaxing, calming, and wonderful. Angel has a bubbly personality. From the first time you sit in her chair, you can tell she wants to get to know you, your style, and what you want from each and every service. She demands perfection in her work and it is evident as soon as you meet her. The facials(Jenn) and massage(Caileigh) are also pure perfection! The products used in each service are top of the line and natural! Davines and Eufora hair care products are among the best I have ever used and I will never switch back! If you are looking for wonderful customer service, a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, and incredible results, you must try Alpha!

Ive been here twice now, once for balayage, and once for a bad balayage correction that id gotten at another salon. The balayage that I had the first time turned out amazing, they use a fool proof way to apply it, using these kind of sticky strips, and it never comes out streaky or chunky. The only reason I went elsewhere for my next hair change decision was because i thought alpha was overpriced. BUT, that was a mistake. I got a terrible balayage from a different salon, contrast too extreme and orangy. The girl at the bad salon did say she would fix it, but was going to charge. so i figured, if im going to get charged anyway, I might as well go to alpha, who i know does a good job. Alpha color corrected me, toned, and did more highlights. Then they dried my hair, and asked if i wanted more done. there were still some spots that bothered me so i asked them if they could adjust those too. they said no problem and did some more highlights. I left feeling SO much better, and for all that they only charged 65! which was awesome

Im not sure where the other reviewer went, but that is not the Alpha Salon and Spa that I frequent. Every experience I have had there has been fantastic. The place is always clean ... even when they were remodeling ... I have personally seen them scrubbing their pedicure chairs between each and every client. Yes, you soak about twenty minutes and thats one of the things that I love. Talk about pampering. I appreciate the extra minutes in the warm, comforting bubbly water. Most other places soak you for a few minutes and then use those razor blade things on your feet. Im a diabetic and I appreciate the care they take with my feet there. From the cleanliness of their chairs and instruments to the careful attention they use to be sure that my feet suffer no harsh, potentially damaging injuries. I dont consider myself a "regular" because pedicures are something I have done to keep my feet in good shape because of the diabetes. But I do enjoy my visits there. The staff is friendly and treat you well.

First time being there. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. A friend and I went to get the ashiatsu massage. They only had one person that did that massage on Sat. While I was waiting for my turn, another gal that did regular massages offered to give me one so I didnt have to wait. I really didnt care if I got the ashiatsu, and the basic 1hr massage was the same price. The facilities were clean. The only down side is that the front of the "spa" portion isnt as sound proof as it should be (it was kind of distracting during my massage when I could hear hair dryers and people talking from the salon). Other than that, I enjoyed my experience! They also sent me a Thank You card 3 days after my visit.

I havent been to the Alpha Salon & Spa yet; but, I did call with some questions and the employee that answered the phone was patient with my questions, answered them fully, and handled her business even on the phone professionally. Because of her decency and respect, even after letting her know that I am a new client and am fairly new to waxing and so forth, she treated me respectfully. This Salon seems to hire well rounded people and people that are professional, I am considering in giving my time and money to this salon.
