DONT GO HERE. Definitely, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Chestertown Auto Plus Marine does not do honest work. They do not inform the customer of any work being completed on a vehicle and take advantage of a situation to extract more money from the customer. The GoodYear Name attached to this store has suffered. I will not be recommending Chestertown Auto Plus Marine or Good Year to anyone. I request alignment on a car with modified suspension on 2/18/17. Indicated at the time of quote, that the car had a modified suspension. Told the technician about the suspension components and was told the Alignment could be done. They could not do the alignment the 1st day and told me the Alignment tech was inexperienced. Held the car until the experienced technician was available, and requested an additional day. Confronted them the second day and they still couldnt correct (-4 camber, I requested as minimum as possible). Charged me extra for holding the car even though it was their own incompetence to complete. Paid the cost since they wouldnt give back the car on 2/21/17. Went to a different shop (on 2/27/17), and they were able to get alignment to custom alignment of -2 which is within FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS (RANGE -2 to -0.5) in 1 hour. Confronted Chestertown Auto Plus Marine with Alignment specs and they would not budge. Once I alerted them of a filed complaint with Good Year and BBB with documentation proving the incompetent work, They issued a refund of $274.43 of $456.22 for the alignment. Regarding Personal Property Damage of my wheels, I Purchased Brand New Wheels and Tires (invested ~$2000). Hand Polished the wheels before mounting and balancing. Requested Chestertown Auto Plus Marine on 2/18/17 to Mount and Balance the Wheels. I had to taking the car from them on 2/21/17, and pay because they would not give it back. Upon return, i noticed damaged to the wheels. I did not confront them on 2/21/17 as it was outside business hours and due to my Anger. Once Calm, I called on 2/22/17 and confronted the owner in person right after. Again, There was NO DAMAGE to the wheels prior to handing it over to Chestertown Auto Plus Marine. Shop damaged the wheels when mounting and balancing the tires. AT NO POINT WAS I, THE CUSTOMER, NOTIFIED OF ANY DAMAGE. Once I Confronted the Owner about the damage, he became nasty and said "There is no damage, I mounted them myself." I asked for him to walk out to the vehicle and look, and that is when he got quiet and inspected the wheels. At that point he said "there was already a nick on one of the wheels." AGAIN WHEELS WERE BRAND NEW WITH NEW DAMAGE, AND AT NO POINT I THE CUSTOMER WAS NOTIFIED. These are not fine scratches, but gashes inside the hub where the Lug Nuts go from the Shop Equipment. Chestertown Auto Plus Marine is responsible for the damage to the wheels, they know it, I know it. I wont say any names, so lets call him K. K told me a story how he would never treat a customer poorly because of something he had witnessed. In the story the owner screwed a customer over and the said customer dump a plate of Spagetti over the owner at a restaurant they had happen to be at. K, I would like to invite you out for Spagetti Dinner, Extra sauce.

I will start out by saying the only good thing about this place is it looks clean and organized when you enter. I dropped my truck off to have the AC worked one. I was going on a week long work trip, so i figured i might as well bite the bullet and have the ac work done. when i first left my vehicle i told the mechanics that the ac compressor was still good. when i returned to pick up my truck i was told the ac compressor was bad and that the condenser and the blower motor were replaced aswell. so i took their word on the ac being fixed and spent 1500 on parts and labor. two days later the AC was in the same no working condition than when i first left it. so i brought it back. they said they would look at, customer service was pleasent. the next day a called and they said a seal went bad and they replaced it free of charge, i was happy to hear that two days later the same outcome no AC after bringing the truck back a third time i was told that the evaporator has a leak and it needed to be replaced i was assured since it was the third time bringing the truck back labor would be compensated i returned three days later to get the vehicle now after having to carpool to and from work. picked my truck up and was told labor was 832 dollars for a 200 dollar part. i had an epiphany that i had made a mistake trusting this company and to put icing on the cake when i drove my truck home i reveled a new surprise that my radio no longer works from them removing the dash to replace the evaporator. so if you want a place that will not call you if they have bad news and want to spend a lot of your hard earned money on sub par work go here by the way i will say the ac atleast blows cold well atleast for another few days.

They charged me 2300.00 for a tune up they found other problems the repair was done wrong I had to have it fixed in Ather shop and they charged me $600.00 took there bill back to them and they said they did not fix my truck it was something else but they were going to the supplier and he would refund my money. Of course I did not get my money back. Most dishonest dealer I have ever dealt with. Make sure you get everything in writing.

I called in a day prior to get tires put on rims...a small job rite? Apparently not for them because when i came back at closing time(i went back at closing time because i didnt get a call) they said that they wuldnt have it done until the following monday. On a more positive they were really nice and polite but thats about all theyve got going for them. "Auto Plus Marine, the shop where every job is too big."

I called and asked for a price for an oil change, and time length to have it accomplished. It took twice as long (I was there for an hour and 45 minutes) despite having an appointment and being early for it! They also charged me an additional fee for 5W 20 which they said was non-conventional. Save your time and money, go to Jiffy-lube and for the same price get your carpets cleaned.

When I come in for an oil change and you tell me that my left tires are worn to 40 and 50% on one side when I bought them new 3300 miles ago, you are either a liar or a sloppy mechanic. Neither of which I want working on my car, and at that point I dont trust anything you say. Maybe it was because of my out of state plates...

They charged me $280 for an alignment and told me it was because of a special adjustment, and acted very shady about the reasoning behind their pricing. Got the same alignment on the same car for $60 elsewhere, and I watched the mechanic make that special adjustment which is all of 4 nuts right on top and easy to access.
