I live in Glen Burnie and didnt want to drive all the way to Fort Meade to get a haircut. I did a quick google search on barber shops in the area and this one had a few reviews on it already so I decided to give it a shot. The barber shop was clean, the barber Chris was friendly, the other people in the barber shop were friendly and it seemed like Chris knew everyone in there. It definitely had a small town feel to it. The haircut I asked for was a standard haircut; Trim the top, sides, back. Im very satisfied with the haircut and couldnt have asked for more. They charge $8 per haircut and take cash only. I highly recommend this barber shop for anyone who is looking for a new place to get a haircut.

This place reminds me of movies when you see people just hanging out in a barber shop. Chris, the owner knows everyone of the guys and girls that walk through his door. He is very professional but also takes a lot of pride in his shop and his cuts. I been in the Navy and all over the world...hands down you want a cut, style, or trim this guy can do it all and its all for a few dollars. 10 dollars!! this place is the barber to go for your hair, dont bother looking around you want the best this guy is the best. I started going to Chris about a year ago and I have to say he is the best barber that I have ever went to. Hes a cool guy to talk to about everything. The shop is very clean when you walk in with easy-going music playing, tons of magazines, and he always has the Bible sitting in the window for his customers to read. But most of all, he gives a great haircut at a very reasonable price (10 bucks). I wont be going to another barber for a long time.

I made a call to the Furnace Branch Barber Shop late on a Friday afternoon half expecting to get the answering machine or no answer at all, especially since they close @ 6:00 and I was calling at 6:05 pm. Fortunately & happily I was greeted by the very pleasant voice of a gentleman (owner?) who answered my call & all of my questions very nicely and not rushed at all. What a refreshing change

Felt compelled to write a review here. I was out of town on business and needed a hair cut. Man do I wish that I had a barber like this guy at home! Very "neighborhood" atmosphere, but felt welcome nonetheless. Very cheap, but not cheap looking haircut. This is the kind of small town business that you want to see succeed!

Cash only. Currently $8, so give Chris $10 and thank him. Its a great value as Chris does a great job. As the other reviews point out its a no frills, basic barbershop. But he has tons of magazines to read while you wait. Friendly place. Fantastic value.

My husband has been going to Chris for going on 14 years. He has given both our sons their first haircut. He is like family. If you want a great cut at a good price, go see Chris, i guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Ive been going to Chris for 15 yrs. He is by far, the BEST barber in Maryland! I never have to touch up any cut I get from him! Worth a try!
