I went here on week day in evening. My first time here as I just moved to Boston. I dont remember the name who gave me the haircut, It started off fine, I thought he was doing a good job until another customer showed up (seemed like regular). The one doing my haircut said he would do his haircut after mine (there were two other barbers who are just about to finish off theirs and no other customers waiting in line). I got a rushed and careless haircut for the second half. I couldnt notice much at that point. but after going home I noticed SEVERAL places with irregular cuts, I could see rectangles, some places were not finished off, I had to spend 1 more hour in front of mirror doing it by myself as it was already little late that day to go to another place. I cant put my finger whether they dont care about new customers or I was kind of discriminated or he has no skill. But It was definitely insulting, and got HALF haircut

The place looked nice and was pretty clean. I dont remember the name of the guy who gave me my cut but he had a small mole/birthmark around his right cheek area. The cut I left with was not the cut I wanted. I showed him a picture of an undercut; a #1 to a #2 on the sides and back, tapered neckline, 5" to 3" on the top, no line up and mid ear sideburns. He ended up cutting the top way too short leaving it about 1"-2" throughout. The top looks a bit layered, but the layering is not smooth and doesnt flow well. The front looks weird especially with the way he tried to do a line up. The overall haircut isnt too bad, but it was not what I asked for. He did do a good job with the fade. His style was less precise and measured, and more go with his flow. He didnt even bother with spraying my hair wet to see where to part my hair. I know everybody has their own style of cutting hair, but the results speak for itself.

My grandfather, Nuncio Tuscano, retired an sold the shop to Rich Firicano. I am proud to say that Mr. Firicano has kept the unique flavor of the shop alive, right down to the hot face towel. Right above his chair is an enlarged photo of Mr. Firicano getting his first haircut from my grandfather, who thought the world of the young man, to include keeping interesting Boston based conversation as he trims his loyal customers. He is a very personable guy that gives a great cut at a great price, and I would, and have, recommended him to all in the area. Thank you Rich, for keeping Nuncio "Bill" Tuscano alive in your excellent shop. I love you for it.

Ottimo barbiere stile italiano di qualità. Ci sono due uomini che tagliano, uno di loro è di 3a generazione e parla un po di italiano.

A mediocre barbershop. There is nothing particularly special about this location. The haircut I got there looked good for around a week, but it didnt grow in well (as oppose to most haircuts I get that are good for around 3 weeks). So not horrible but they are just ok.

Good guys, great haircuts (and shaves if you have the time), clean place, pretty quick turnaround even when its busy, and an unbelievable value at $16 a cut. cant recommend highly enough, go during Christmas time and enjoy a complimentary holiday beverage!

Since I lived in the North End, I have been going to Rick for 20+ years and have always gotten the best haircut. Since I got remarried & moved outside of Boston, I still drive in for a haircut from Rick. It is my wife that insists on that now.

I went here for a quick haircut while visiting Boston. Ended up getting the best haircut Ive ever had, from Rich, the owner. A $14 haircut at a place with a friendly and classic atmosphere that the swanky places can only try to emulate.

Very friendly and professional classic barbershop. They do modern cuts too, not just an old fashioned Italian barbershop. I got a great fade and hard side part from Joe who took his time and gave suggestions. Paid $18 for a cut.

This is place is great. Classic barbershop vibe. The barbers are very nice and are pros at what they do. I was in dire need of a haircut and I was in and out in under 10 minutes! For $16 you cant beat that!

Went here based on the ratings and would come back. I like the location, liked the cut, barbers were down to earth, and was in and out.
