Absolutely almost ruined my wedding!!! Walking away from what should have been the best day of my life completely heartbroken is what Chad Michael Peters et al provided in regard to his and his companys services. Chad and I were friends prior to my engagement and wedding. I was so very excited to work with both Chad and his company in producing an extremely detail orientated wedding weekend and a wedding that illustrated both mine and my now husbands style. I will be nothing but honest in this review, both good and bad...as not everything was bad. Moreover, I will not tell a couple to not work with Chad, I will simply say this: even if you feel confident in your choice of wedding designers (Chad or any other designer) be sure to do your own footwork, keep amazing records, and do not allow yourself to rest the week of your wedding, as you MUST follow up and even nag, if needed, to ensure all your little details and expectations are being met! Since the details of what happened between Chad and my family will take up more than the allotted space here, I will simply state this: First, after the wedding Chad came back with extras that were 32% of the total agreed and previously paid in full amount (mind you my agreed amount with CMP was for 275 guests and I only had 230 guests...so not certain how there are extras for items such as tables or plates for example). Moreover, they were extras that none of us approved either in person, email, on the phone or in writing. Second, details of the wedding (most details) were missing! Items I purchased and CMP promised to bring to the wedding were missing! Tables were set incorrectly, and the plates were incorrect. The charity info which we provided in lieu of favors was never organized and brought to the wedding. Third, all my centerpieces were incorrect. Fourth, all the other vendors were upset with CMPs lack of organization and professionalism. Finally, the day of his staff was so busy putting out fires that my guests had no idea where to go upon arrival, the tables were not set when my guests arrived...basically, there was a logistical nightmare with 230 wandering about and being in location not yet open to guests! In all, I could continue with the issues...but to put it plainly is this. Chad is talented, there is no doubt. However, he clearly picks and chooses which couple he feels worthy of his talent. I was a friend and clearly my wedding was not worthy. Moreover, after we told him that we refuse to pay for non approved extras, he started harassing me via the phone, Facebook, and email. He made threatening remarks to both myself and my family. It has even gone as far as my having to file a police report and seek an order for him not to have any contact with me. Chad is unprofessional and vulgar in his business practices when he feels he is not getting his way! Yes, he is talented. But couple that with the fact that he cannot manage his actual workload (since he had other events the weekend of my wedding which clearly took priority over my wedding) and the fact that his billing practices are a joke, make him a vendor that you should overlook! If you do decide to work with Chad, be prepared to follow up everything in writing. To take notes at your meetings with him and then follow up each meeting with your notes submitted to him in writing. Also, be sure to continuously ask him questions and demand his responses in writing! He could make your wedding beautiful, he has the talent to do so, just be careful.

Chad is a wonderful artist and was a complete pleasure to work with. Not only was he very personable and accessible but really listened to my thoughts and ideas. Flowers are not something I know a lot about so I trusted him with a lot of the decision making which can be risky but not with Chad, he is a pro! What I loved most about my experience with CMP is that this is his true passion and he devotes a great deal of pride in his work. The day of my wedding the centerpieces complimented the venue and made the room "pop". Chad truly went above and beyond and my guests are still talking about what a beautiful job he did!

I can only speak as a vendor and say that I believe these people when they say he was disorganized and did not follow through on arrangements that had agreed upon with him. I know first hand that he owes many of his vendors money and that can account for some of the problems, we can not continue to service him if he doesnt pay his bills. I also know first hand from a good friend that he also came up with a bill after for cost over runs for things she had no idea about at the time and as others said were never agreed upon. He may have talent but he doesnt know how to run a business.

Chad Michael Peters promised so many things that he didnt do for our wedding, it was really upsetting. The day of our wedding we never even saw him and the person he sent didnt know anything about what we had planned with Chad. When I got the bill I was shocked, it was way over what we had told him we could spend. When we wrote a bad review on another site, he threatened us.Chad has ruined my memories of our wedding reception.Read carefully all the favorable reviews on certain wedding sites, they mostly look and sound a little too positive to be real.
