Last year, Elijah gave me the worst haircut Ive ever received which resulted in me shaving my head bald and suffering great emotional distress. I asked for a thin hard-line shaved where I part my hair, which is a very easy process, and Elijahs terrible technique left a highly visible one inch wide bald spot on the top of my head. When questioned, I was treated dismissively and told I had asked for this. After leaving, I attempted to fix this disgusting excuse for a haircut at another establishment but ultimately found no possibility of salvation. Avoid at all costs.

I received my haircut today for the first time. I should have paid more attention to the comments I read. Yes, Elijah is nice but he really doesnt know how to do a proper haircut. I even showed him several pictures of how I wanted my hair done. For a regular haircut and shaving my mustache I was charged $31.00. As a grad student I left frustrated and angry. Please stay away!

Ive lived in a lot of places, and this is by far the best barbershop Ive ever been to. The guys are pros, and they charge a fair price. Its also only a short walk from BCs main campus (especially from upper) and of course Newton campus (actually, main campus might be a little closer to newton center than newton campus is). 5 Stars!

not at all the haircut I asked for. I stopped Elijah several times to tell him to stop cutting it the way he wanted it but he continued. Oh, also, he cut the back of my neck in several places. Do not recommend. At all. Never going back. Friendly people though

I waited an hour for my barber to cut the hair of the three guys before me, all of whom received buzz cuts. When it was finally my turn, the cut was mediocre and the barber was difficult to communicate with. They also recently jacked their prices up.

Did not listen to anything said and completely cut my hair the way HE wanted to and did not give me a chance to speak up. I do not recommend this barborshop to people who want their hair styled

I came here at 10 am and there were no people whatsoever, so Elijah was able to put a lot of time in my hair and gave me the best hairstyle I ever got!

This is a very good barber shop - not a hair salon. Elijah gives a great haircut. Its a friendly place and welcomes walk-ins.
