Great family friendly shop with a good location, friendly barbers with personality, most comfortable barber chairs (and waiting chairs) Ive ever sat in. Our barber did both of our haircuts perfectly, and didnt skimp out on anything, lined up everything straight, thinned out the moustaches and lined them up perfectly. Excellent service and highly recommended to anyone considering it. Was a pleasure getting our haircuts here and well definitely be coming back. I loved how the barber continuously asked me on choices while cutting my hair, asked me throughout the haircut what style I preferred with each thing and what exactly I wanted done.

Took a chance , first time going here. Friendly Atmosphere and a clean shop at a good location. Barbers both polite and professional and did an exceptional job on both me and my sons haircut. Barber was a great conversationalist but didnt let that interfere with the haircut so we were in and out in a timely manner. Great representation of how barber shops should operate. If you are thinking of giving this place a shot, these reviews all hold their weight, Gateway is a great barbershop and I HIGHLY doubt you will leave disappointed.

My barber of 40+ years retired leaving me the job of finding a suitable replacement. I am confident after one visit to Gateway that this is my new barber! As stated in other reviews, this shop meets all the requirements for me; 2.5 miles away, open at 0800, very personable barber, excellent haircut, clean shop. Nice job John!

Little to no wait on the weekdays. Gives a haircut exactly the way you ask for it. Ive stuck with this guy for over a year, hasnt disappointed yet. Plus, good conversations while you are in the chair. Good barber, good atmosphere.

Wonderful Barber shop!!!! My husband goes there the owner/barber does a wonderful job even adds the old style touch of using warm shaving cream with his straight razor to get the back of his neck.

Great shop. I have personally known the owner/master barber for over 20 years and still to this day its the only place to get a real fade and shave. Give them a shot you wont be disappointed.

Owner has been cutting hair for 49 years... so of course the haircut was excellent. He was very friendly, offered up some tips on things to see in the area as I was just visiting.
