We didnt have a good experience at this place, and know several other parents who shared similar experiences. The director is erratic, extremely defensive and confrontational. The center touts being bilingual but most of the staff barely speaks any English. Several times I discovered teachers writing down giving bottle and diaper change when these tasks were not performed. While the center allows for open door policy, unannounced visits from parents are really not encouraged. If I talk to the staff about a bruise or bump on the head, its either denial that out child got it at home or they have no knowledge of it...then comes the director whos ready to fight instead of trying to come up with a solution. The facility is relatively new but oddly placed in an office building and separated into two sections, and requires quite a bit of walk to access a public park. We chose to disenroll for numerous reasons due to poor treatment received from the center and even that process was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.

The facilities and programs were fine but we had a bad experience with the director which is disconcerting. We wanted to discuss the teacher to child ratio because on multiple occasions I saw there were not enough teachers in the infant room. The director was very defensive and told me that I did not trust them and we were probably not a good fit. I also mentioned that I had arrived once at 4:45 and the sheet said he was changed at 5. She told me no other parents had every complained about that. Shortly after our conversation we received an email saying that she was ending our contract. When I told her I would come by for our check and belongings and she told me she would send them. It is worrying what she is hiding given that they do not let parents stop by unannounced.

We love Strawberry. Monica and Betty, the directors, have created a great center and program, with wonderful, loving teachers. All of the teachers -- not just those in your childs classroom -- know the kids and care for each and every one. The curriculum is great -- I have no doubt that my daughter is learning and playing and having fun every day shes there, between music and gymnastics and yoga, in addition to the daily activities. The outdoor space is a great benefit, too, with a big open field for the kids to run around in. Monica keeps the parents well-informed and responds to all issues -- including center-wide illnesses -- immediately. Leaving your child in the care of someone else every day isnt easy, but Strawberry definitely makes it easier!

We couldnt be happier with the care our 10 month old son receives at Strawberry Childcare. The attention, engagement, and interaction the staff and other children provide him are invaluable to us as a family. All of the teachers at Strawberry are compassionate, bright, attentive, and clearly love being with children. I believe that Strawberry Childcare gives our son so many wonderful opportunities to learn and develop into the wonderful little person he is becoming; the activities he participates in on a daily basis are above and beyond anything we could do on our own at home. We are grateful to have found Strawberry and hope other children get to experience the same supportive and encouraging environment that our son has at Strawberry!

We had our daughter enrolled at Strawberry Childcare from 6 month-2.5 years and only took her out because we moved to a different part of the city. We were very happy with the loving an knowledgeable care that she received during that time and highly recommend this daycare center. The director is incredibly thorough and her staff is top notch. I think Strawberry can easily compete with some of the higher priced more corporate day care centers in the area. If I could give it more stars I would. Thank you Strawberry for making sure our little one was so well taken care of during those 2 years!! The bilingual aspect is also a big bonus!

We had both of our daughters at Strawberry Childcare from the time they were just 4 months old. Everyone at Strawberry is terrific with children. They love then and care for them and teach them and nurture them. The director, Monica, always takes the time to answer your questions and think through good strategies for raising your children. I felt like Monica and the entire teaching staff at Strawberry were partners with our family, all committed to helping our daughters become sweet people. I cant say enough nice things about our experience there!

There is no question, in our minds, that Strawberry Child Care, has by far exceeded all of our expectations, in providing exceptional day care for our two sons. We have been with Strawberry for a little over two years and have constantly been impressed by the educational growth in both of our children, also (more importantly) in the centers dedication towards enriching the lives of all the children enrolled. We dont see Strawberry as a just a day-care, but also a space where our children are excited to go each day.

We are very happy with the care and attention that our daughter receives at Strawberry Childcare. The teachers are very friendly and social and keep the kids busy with activities all day long. They are a bilingual (English & Spanish) center and I feel that offers a great opportunity for my English-speaking daughter to also learn some Spanish at a young age. Strawberry Childcare is located next to a large park and the kids and teachers spend a lot of time outside when the weather is nice.

Strawberry offers warm, genuinely caring teachers, lots of activities and a modern, clean facility. My child is very happy here, learns a lot every day (both in English and Spanish) and loves her teachers and the other kids. The only inconvenience is the three (paid) weeks the center is closed each year. I wish staff vacations were staggered because it is difficult to find alternative arrangements for all those days off.

The cleanest, friendliest, brightest, place I have ever been in!!! A top notch program were the kids are always busy with activity and the teachers are the most interactive I have ever experienced!! The bilingual aspect of the center can only be a huge advantage to the kids in thier futures. Monica has developed a true home away from home with center, and feel the kids could not be better taken care of!!

We have two children, one toddler and one infant, and we have been thrilled with the care theyve gotten at Strawberry Childcare Center. The teachers are incredibly loving and professional, and they genuinely care about our children. We think that the bilingual curriculum is great, and we are happy with the balance between structured activities and free play. I would wholeheartedly recommend the center.

Weve been sending our seven month old son to Strawberry for the past three months and are very happy there! As new parents the entire staff helped us to feel at ease about the transition. The staff are incredibly warm and caring; our son gets tons of attention and affection. Also the rooms and toys are extremely clean, tidy and well resourced. I would highly recommend this daycare to any family!

Strawberry is fantastic! My daughter, now 3, has been there since she was 1 (and speaks quite a bit of Spanish!). My son, now 1, has been there for 6 months. We couldnt be happier with the director and the staff. The center is professionally organized and run, but with a warmth we didnt feel at other large centers we visited. I cant recommend Strawberry highly enough!
