I lost my father on Thursday, July 7th, 2016. His wake was July 11th, and his funeral July 12th. Through the tough time my family and I experienced, those at Mercadante funeral home were supportive and extremely helpful. They have helped plan the funeral and cover the little details we overlooked in our time of despair. Michelle was extremely understanding and helpful-my sister would text her with questions and shed respond. She was professional yet comforting-exactly what we needed. The funeral home was clean, organized, and the homey feeling gave a feeling of comfort during the wake and service. After the funeral, we received laminated copies of my fathers obituary along with helpful brochures about grieving and coping, a signed guest booklet, a DVD copy of a slideshow they made in honor of my father, and other thoughtful documents and gifts. I feel like the staff at Mercadante Funeral Home have taken care of my family and helped us not have to worry about the details of a wake and funeral. We had more time to focus on our mother and comfort her and the rest of our family. Im beyond happy with the experience I had at the Mercadante Funeral Home. I will definitely recommend this funeral home to those in need of one.

My mothers funeral services were held at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel. Michael, the director helped me select pictures for her slide show. Michael provided me with his personal cell phone number to text him any additional pictures to be added to the slide show, as well as any questions I had during this time of grief. My mother loved the beach and Michael did a phenomenal job at selecting the beach theme as well as the music and pictures. The level of professionalism and compassion given by the staff at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel in my time of grief was above and beyond what I thought it would be. After the funeral services were over I was given two copies of the DVD slide show and other precious memorable gifts of my mother. I highly recommend you visit Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel before choosing a place for your loved one (s). I feel you will look no further.

Ask for Alex Acher... he is sincere, engaged, listens to what you say and will provide you with the attention to detail that you want during a difficult time. My brothers funeral was exactly what it supposed to be. The Mercadante family continues to provide Worcester with valuable, warm, sympathetic service.
