I wrote awesome reviews for all my vendors at my wedding but unfortunately Elan Events gets a 1 star because working with Reema the owner was very difficult. Shes a stress ball and shes very hyper, she makes it seem like she gets you and you should be grateful that shes doing things for you... Lady stop making your customers feel like they have to worship you for PAID jobs they give you! I would not work with her again or recommend her. She has a horrible temper and over books herself and makes it your problem because she is super stressed and is short handed. As a bride shes the only person who stressed me out, otherwise my wedding was awesome. I kept asking her if she can show me a sample and she would get super upset telling me that shes busy and to just trust her, a few days before my wedding she tells me she double booked the bride and groom chairs we requested... She gives me a call and lets me know with major attitude blaming her poor assistant, so I told her thats not fair and this is what we wanted. she than starts yelling at me after I told her this is unacceptable... so when she finally talked to her other bride and somehow got my chairs back she texted me saying she worked a miracle for me telling me I should appreciate the hard work she did for me on getting my chairs back. On the day of our wedding my husband had a feeling that she was going to mess up something because he had to call her a few times to let her know to stop stressing his bride out and If my husband did not check out the venue the morning of, we would have gotten something totally different than what we discussed with Reema. I said I wanted hanging greenery and a white open canopy only and she did thanksgiving colors! Thank goodness my husband told her to fix it even though there was no hanging greenery, I still was fine with the simplicity because I told her thats my style. She yelled at me and my husband a day before our wedding and on our wedding day. she sent me rude texts messages on my wedding weekend, she is such a disrespectful woman to even think it would be okay to stress out a bride and groom on one of their special days and the only reason why we didnt just fire her on the spot is because we didnt have TIME to look for someone else.

We used Elan Event Planning & Design for our wedding day decor and we are happy to say that they did an AMAZING job! Entering the reception hall was one of the most memorable moments for my husband and I, not only because it of our families and guests, but also because it was our first time seeing the fully decorated reception hall. Reima and the girls at Elan did a fantastic job planning and coordinating with us months before the wedding and setting up the room the day of. Even now days after the wedding, our guests are still telling us that it was one of the most beautiful events they have been to! We also used invitation printing and RSVP card services at Elan. Heather was absolutely wonderful! She communicated with us every step of the way and ensured that everything came out perfect. I would highly recommend Elan Event Planning & Design to anyone planning a wedding! Reima and her girls are super friendly and professional and will work with you to make your dream wedding come true, even within a budget!

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! I was so excited to work Reima for my only daughters wedding decor. When I came into the reception hall, the stage draping was much smaller then the agreed upon contract. When asked why they did not deliver what was in the contract, Reima was very rude and replied with her hand shaking in my face, " I have 10 events in one day, I cant call you if something is not going right!". I was very hurt and I am extremely disappointed! Beware of this company, they promise you something, charge you full price before you see the product and then back away from their commitment. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY AND WARN YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS!

Word of advice to the owners, Reima and Jon. I was very excited to potentially work with you. I told my boss that I would potentially be giving my two weeks notice the day after I sent my counter offer. I thought I would hear back from you guys, so we could discuss our meeting and potential future with each other, but you both decided to just ignore and leave me in the dark, and quite confused. Just be professional and be honest about not being able to work together. It shows negatively on your business. I didnt expect that kind of treatment from two people who seemed very genuine and enthusiastic over the phone about us working together. It really was hurtful.

My daughter used this company to plan mine and my husbands 25th anniversary. The decorations were awesome and we had a great surprise.
