Duzaks Funeral & Cremation services is by far the best and most affordable funeral home in southeastern Michigan. They combine old fashioned family values with todays technology to make an already difficult time as easy & convenient as possible. I received high quality compassionate service & personal attention to detail at a fraction of the cost of others Id called. We had a simple cremation with no visitation and a memorial at a separate location so they arranged everything by email & hand delivered the cremains to our home at no additional cost. Also, our family pastor wasnt available for the memorial so Duzaks referred me to Rev. Dan who not only made himself available, but gave a heartwarming & meaningful eulogy and then tried to slip out before I could make a donation for his time. I practically had to force him to take it. Dont waste precious time or money anywhere else, call Mary Ellen at Duzaks first! Youll be glad you did.

I recently lost my little brother who was staying in the Detroit area. I live on the opposite side of Ohio. Establishing next of kin rights was a lengthy process due to our mother being deceased and having different fathers. The morgue was very helpful, it was just a lengthy process. When I was finally able to make arrangements, the Duzak family was amazing. They walked me through every step of the paperwork, they were expedient with picking up my brother and getting him taken care of. Most importantly, Chris walked me through every step via phone while my brother was being transported and cremated and finally sent to me. I felt like I was actually there and since I couldnt be there for my brother, I felt like he had a brother in Chris taking care of him the way I would want. Obviously, I would recommend them to anyone who was in need of services.

Well, I found myself in a horrible situation: dealing with the loss of a brother from far away. I got the wrong phone number for this business from the Wayne County Medical Examiners office. However, I still found this family run business online easily enough. I coordinated the processing of my dear brothers remains with the excellent and compassionate assistance of the Funeral Home Staff. By working with this business- a very ugly situation was turned around completely into (a few weeks later...) a very successful and uplifting veterans funeral. My family is very grateful. "I highly Recommend this business" I worked with Chris and Mary Ellen. ;)

My father passed away earlier this year at Troy Beaumont Hospital. The social worker at the hospital recommended Duzak Funeral and Cremation when my mother and I were clueless as to where to go and what comes next. This is a family run business. They care about every customer like family. They also work with the customers to fit their schedules. They led us through everything and made an uncomfortable situation comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone. As a matter of fact, I plan to prepay for my own funeral expenses through them. That is how satisfied I was with their services.

The Duzak sons were quick in responding to our call. They were prfessional, thorough and yet very friendly. They dealt with our grief and horror with compassion and understanding. Duzak Funeral is a family-run business that provides true compassion and impeccable service. When I went to the crematory to identify my mom, I was surprised how beautiful she looked. The crematory staff said that "Duzaks always washes the face and combs the hair. They go the extra mile for their customers." I could not recommend them more highly.
