We came to Adventures Learning Centers in Kentwood after leaving a competing center that we felt was not giving our son the attention and stimulation that a developing mind needs. Adventures is literally the best "day care" I have ever seen, and I place the term "day care" in quotes because it is so much more than that; it is more of a school that takes the development and growth of every single child as its first priority. My wife and I are both busy professionals and Adventures Learning Centers worked with our specific schedules to ensure our needs were met. Since arriving at Adventures Learning Centers in June, our son has had a dramatic increase in his cognitive, motor, verbal, and social-spatial development. They use Zoo Phonics, which is a brilliant system to teach words and reading skills. Our son is well ahead of the curve in his development for his age in all areas, and I credit Adventures Learning Centers for much of that development. The manager, Jenni, is also fantastic to work with and it is very clear she is passionate about maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all of the children in their care.

Upon arrival for our tour I wasnt entirely sure how things would be. When walking into the center I felt as if the staff wasnt as personable as they should be when it comes to inquiring about someone caring for a child. Every piece of info was given to us with in 5 minutes with minimal detail, which felt unprofessional. While visit the potential classroom for our son the floor was dirty, crumbs and dirt covered the Lego play table AND CLEANING PRODUCTS OUT IN REACH OF CHILDREN. I was very disappointed & after visiting several other facilities realize that this is the ongoing word of mouth regarding this facility. Room for potential-absolutely! Possibly understaffed and over capacity-questionable! A place I would send my child-no thank you!

I worked here for what seemed like months but it was just a few short weeks. Management was amazing and bosses were fair but the most of the staff are horrible to the kids. I paid someone else to watch my baby while I went to work, Save yourself the time
