Easily the worst haircut Ive ever had. Now Im a gentleman with a longer Scandinavian beard and hairstyle. I have been looking for a place near my new home that could work on my hair and beard. I wish going in that I would have been told that they do not know how to work on longer hair style or beards. After I had asked the young barber to trim my hair by an inch and to even out my beard he proceeded to hack off everything he wasnt suppose to and forgot to cut what I had asked him to. He took off three times what I had asked him to in the back, but left the rest of my hair its original length. Giving me some sort of reverse mullet. Then with my beard he removed 90% of it and claimed "to have barely touched it" He didnt even bother to even out the beard. My beard is noticeable higher up on one side of my face than it is the other. Even worse, the only thing I had asked him to do with my beard he did not. There are still strand of hair that are way to long and need to be trimmed down. and he did not touch the hairline on my neck as I had asked. I had made it very clear to him that I had been growing out my beard and seek to keep the general shape and length. Its clear to me that this man does not know how to work with a full beard or longer mens hairstyles. Now he must have known he screwed up. At the end of my cut he seemed reluctant for me to get a close look in the mirror of his handy work and held the mirror and quite a distance. Then when it came time to charge me he rung me up at a much lower cost than what was advertised up front, as if that would make things any better. It wasnt until I got back into my car and had a close up look in my mirrors that I realized how horrible I looked. I went back in to get it fixed and I was offered money back after he defended his work and blamed me for it left and right. He said this is what I had asked for, and that he knew what I wanted. Well I wish he had clarified before making a dumb mistake. This beard took over a year to grow out, and now I have to go around looking like some sort of demented chi- munk man child. I wish I could post before and after pictures of what this man did to me. I did not accept the refund. It would do nothing ease the damage done to me. All I wanted was a simple apology, which he refused to give because I was wrong. Because at the After Shave Barbershop, Your never right.

Really a good place to get a hair cut. They do a great job, the staff is professional and friendly. There are two good size flat screens on with sporting events on to watch. For guys, I have to say this is an awesome place to go to because they will use a straight razor to shave your neck. It is hard to beat that. Several places I have been to only use an electric trimmer. If you need a hair cut, just walk in, that is the way they do their business.

Ive only been here twice. Once for a head shave and once for a beard trim. I can honestly say, Ill never go anywhere else. It has an old school barber shop experience from the walk in service only to the hot towels and straight razor shaves. Great people and great conversation top this place off.

Called at 5:27 pm (they close at 5:45) and asked if I could get in for a haircut. Drove over walked up to the door and it was locked at 5:43. Looked at the sign and in fact they close at 5:45. Tapped on the glass and the employees just looked at me. Douche nozzles.
