Unfortunately my whole experience was pretty bad and I dealt with the owner, Mr. Fisher most of the time. From not having an office available to make arrangements and sitting me in a viewing room, to a paragraph left out of the prayers cards (still waiting on a refund check for this since they ran out of the prayer cards I selected and couldnt reprint with the correct prayer), chairs in the viewing room dirty, doors hanging off of hinges and to top it off I went to pick up my fathers remains and death certificates and noticed a spelling error on the death certificate and Mr. Fisher offered to split the cost with me for a new corrected death certificate. I paid for a correct one, not one with spelling mistakes for you to offer to split the costs for a new one. Honestly I never leave bad reviews but I just want to let everyone know that if your looking into using Fisher Funeral Home, run far away.

I want to let the public know what this funeral has done to my family. My mother had pre-arranged and prepaid her cremation with this funeral home. Well my brother had the information for the funeral home and lied about the name of the home to other siblings. (my mother had 7 kids) Anyway, when I went (after cold-calling funeral homes to find the right one) to get her ashes they REFUSED to release them to me even though I had my birth certificate. They instead called my brother and released them only to him. He is not her next of kin and they also made many mistakes on her death certificate and are refusing to cooperate with family members. It is unbelievable

I have used Fishers services twice once for cremation and once for embalmment services and they were personable, reasonably priced and customer driven. No pressure, simple and practical. I also love the mid century style of the building. The only downside is its size. If youre having a big funeral, then the space is a bit tight and the fellowship area is in the basement is also small.
