My daughter has danced at EDC (Birmingham) for the past three years and this studio is the best. EDC offers a professional atmosphere that challenges and encourages the dancers to become the best they can be. The dance instructors have outstanding credentials...many currently dance as part of the professional company. Ive seen incredible growth in my daughters ability and in her love for dance. My daughter dances in one of the student companies (My Move). One of the most unique and priceless benefits to dancing at EDC is that the girls that dance in the student companies are given the opportunity to perform in several pre shows for the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble. After they perform, many of the young dancers will stay and watch the professionals, allowing them to see for themselves what they can achieve if they work hard. EDC treats dance as an art form. The Choreography is incredible...my daughter takes ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip hop and in each class over the years the teachers have delivered amazing numbers. Costumes have always been age appropriate yet still something my daughter has been excited to wear. EDC is a great studio with outstanding instructors.

EDC has three locations and we dance mainly at the Rochester location. This non-profit dance center has excellent instructors, who are either current or former members of Eisenhower Dance and university graduates with degrees in dance. They are dedicated instructors who are commited to the students and EDC. As a studio that is not a competition center, I feel there is exceptional focus instead, on technique, proper form and movement, injury prevention and personal success for each student. Highly recommended for the pre-professional or recreational dancer.

Wonderful studio & instructors... My daughter is only 4, and yes, sometimes she is not focused, but the instructor does not give up. My daughter is surprisingly good...
