This restaurant is ok. There is always something wrong though. Normally they either dont have brownies, forget the pickle, their soda machine isnt working or the one you want is out and the employees often claim they dont know how to refill it, and today (Easter) they are closed. Wouldnt it be nice not to work in a field that operates 24/7 regardless of holidays like the first responders the company claims to support. So today I starve until I have time to go somewhere else. That last one is mostly on me, I rarely cook my own food due to my work schedule and chosen busy life spent helping people and furthering my education. I am not religious so dont celebrate any of the religious holidays (almost all of them). Holidays tend to sneak up on me and I dont find out until Im at the door with no extra time to go somewhere else.

I love firehouse subs.. during my visit as this location wed 6/28/17 7pm, there was one male worker doing ALL of the work and a female worker arguing back and forth with her baby daddy who then eventually left out of the restaurant to continue arguing with him. When I left out of the restaurant I observed her sitting in her car (ALONE) smoking a cigarette while the whole time the male worker was still servicing customers all by himself. I really felt bad 4 the male worker because during the time the female was inside a location she was arguing with the male worker as well telling him she needed him to do more additional duties or he can punch out so I guess Im assuming she was the manager. Wow!

These guys have been very pleasant EVERY time Ive come in. I come in the earlier hours like lunch time, 5 at the latest. My boyfriend loved it too.. Glad they have these in MI as my 1st time here was in FL. Met my expectations perfectly. Ive also gone to the location on Woodward Ave in Royal Oak, MI. Both have prepared my food and were very clean. If you can sample their signature cherry limeade, I have 2 have it every time. Its not for everyone tho lol

Apparently the manager thinks it is OK to answer the phone while I am in the middle of telling her my order. Reality check; dont ignore your customers by answering the phone while we are placing our order to you, very rude and unprofessional. Had to wait another several minutes for her to finish the call then I was able to finish placing my order. I have never had this happen before anywhere else!

I had an architectural meeting that I had Firehouse "cater" for 30 people. The food was good and the gentlemen that helped us was polite. The manager was a bit abrupt and unprofessional, and they got our order done over half an hour late with no attempt at hustling or adding people to our order to get it done as we waited, which caused issues with our timeline. Other than that not bad!

I love the subs here. My hubby does too. He gets a brisket one and I have tried a few different ones and loved them all. They even have salads and a "under 500 calories" menu. They serve delicious tea & lemonade & have a coke freestyle machine. I also love that they donate to the fire dept

Love the chain, but in this specific shop, I was very disappointed in the service. I ordered 2 subs, not combos, and waited for 22 minutes. There were 3 employees, who seem to be more concerned with their friends coming up to see then rather than do their job. Will not be coming back.

Usually love going to firehouse but this one was not the best. Waited a long time for our subs and we were the only ones there. Then when we did get them they were cold! There wasnt even pickles which is one of the best parts of going to firehouse. Not impressed at all.

The food is great, its the staff that could use some improvements. Seems they are more interested in chit chatting with each other than in serving customers. They need to pay more attention to the customers and less on who is doing what on the weekend.

Very tasty subs and the best tasting bread of all the sub joints. I gave 2 stars because the sub I ordered (New York Steamer) was mostly bread and did not resemble the photo on the menu in any way.

Ive been to several firehouse subs locations, and I am not a fan. They often seem extremely sloppy, slimy, and overall messy. Taste is 5/10 but the food falls apart in a disgusting mess of slop.

Horrible service. Cashier was so busy talking she didnt hear the size I wanted and charged me for a large. Staff very unprofessional. First time at the restaurant. Will be my last.

Best sub sandwiches ever. The steamed sandwich is warm yet moist, unlike toasted subs. The meat is tender and the sauce is delicious. I love the Italian sub and the BBQ brisket

Very slow every time I have been in here. They are always understaffed. Be prepared to wait 20+ minutes for a single sub even though they tell you 5-7 minutes.
