EXCELLENT!!! My sister and I just had our "Summer-cuts" done by Ms. Kate at Studio 5 Salon. She was super nice and gave us so much attention!! I enjoyed where the salon was located, intimately set inside the well-known Ardmore Place. My sister loved the history behind the farm house with all the unique decor and antique furniture. We were all very happy with our new hairstyles! My mom says she cant wait to go back and make a day of it, including having lunch in one of their beautiful dining rooms. THANK YOU MS. KATE!!!

First off - Im going to start by saying I drive an hour and fifteen minutes from Ann Arbor just to come here. The facility is incredible, and the service is even better. Its always a gamble when trying to find a stylist to do platinum and white blonde, but Kate has completely mastered it. My hair is always in incredible shape with minimal damage and it doesnt get brassy or lose its white after a few weeks of washing. Im constantly complimented on how healthy and bright it looks. Thanks Kate!

Ive been going to Kate at Studio 5 for almost 7 years. The salon is beautiful (so is the building), clean, very comfortable, priced fairly, everyone is friendly and most of all I get what I ask for every time. Im very particular, so to find someone who listens and accommodates is rare (Ive left a number of other salons for this reason!) Ive regularly have Kate touchup my roots, add highlights, cut/blow-dry. Ive also had updos, massages and facials there and always left very happy.

My hair is gray. Stylist Seemed to think my hair wasnt but when my son asked why my hair was gray... proof enough. Girl was nice but when I asked to remove the orange tint I got gray hair instead.... prices are too high for the service they offer. I did get a discount but when she told me the amount without the cut... its the highest I have ever paid. I paid less for more experienced stylists. Sorry but I would not recommend if getting your hair dyed.

I had my first visit here today to clean up a haircut from another stylist. I saw Kate, the owner, and she did an amazing job on my hair. She spent considerable time cutting and texturing my hair and she was incredibly focused the entire time. I love my new do and I already booked another appointment with her. The salon is clean and stylish. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

Excellent! Stylist -"Theresa" is great with angled bobs! So classy! Environment was friendly, clean, and Theresa got the job done in a timely manner and I was on my way to my lunch date (feeling like a million bucks!). Owner (Kate) was visible and attentive as well. I would recommend that you give this salon a try!

Worst haircut ever. I even showed a picture of the haircut I wanted. Kate had her own agenda, and cut it her way. Im in my 50s and know what my hair will and will not do. Wish I could get my money back. I asked her to not dry cut it and she refused. Whatever happened to doing what the customer asks

What a great location, the salon is super cute and Kate is very welcoming, making your stay relaxing. Kate always takes the time to listen and advice to get the look you want. You have to check this hidden space out inside a beautiful setting.
