Ive been to the new location in Jackson, MS twice now. Judgement needs to be your middle name. The lady I was speaking with, an employee presumably charged with keeping customers not running them off, interrupted me to tell me Im not fat. Im 360 pounds, fat is exactly what I am. Im also brunette, and a mom and have many other labels that apply to me. By interrupting me to tell me what I am or am not, the employee you guys trained not only disrespected me and my time but then showed that you do too judge- else wise fat wouldnt be a problem word. Saying "oh youre not fat" to a 360 pound member is saying that fat is a bad thing- so we mustnt deal with it in a truthful manner. She started telling me your "philosophy". I had to say to her, wait, those bodybuilding types you are bad mouthing are my crowd. Ive been at this since 590 pounds. I lost it by doing the same things those "lunks" do. So for the second time in less than ten minutes I was judged by a Planet Fitness employee in your supposedly "no judgement" zone. My time was highly disrespected during my attempt to use the hydro massage. I was literally standing ten feet away as two other people were led back, people listed after me on the list. He said I left, but fortunately not only was I able to say I was standing right there but his fellow employee did as well. This man, your employee, was literally laughing in my face pretending to be sorry he had at this point wasted 45 minutes of my time. He then told me the policy was that once you signed up you had to stay right there in that desk area or the name would be skipped but he didnt do that because he felt bad about it?! Are you kidding me? Can you people not afford a PA system or a number system? I can go get a shower at a truck stop and they can let me know its my turn wherever I am in the place but you cant do it in a one large room club? Are you five year olds? I mean, seriously, I can get you guys a bullhorn if you need it but wasting customers time making them wait in the front area for things is not going to be a model that people will want to stick with. And if I cant get that hydromassage what you make off me every month is cut in half. You also need to train your people that there can be legal ramifications from their lies. I specifically asked about a squat rack and was lied to. When I went in for the presale, Friday before the Tuesday you guys opened the sign announcing the annual fee was not up, nor was it disclosed to me. Do you think that endears you to me? Do you think that creates a vibe where I want to come workout at your club? This is a marathon, not a sprint. I will need a gym for years to come- decades. Do you think these experiences lend towards me keeping a business relationship with you? Or are you all fine being the WalMart of fitness where no one really likes you we just use you because youre cheap or available?

Of all the Planet Fitness locations I have visited, this one is by far the best!! The staff members are ALWAYS friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in the door!! If I EVER have any questions, I never feel uncomfortable or as if I will be judged if I ask a staff member for help! Even the MANAGER has stepped in herself to demonstrate how to use certain machines!! The gym is kept in IMPECCABLE cleanliness and condition!! I will NEVER even consider a different gym!! Planet Fitness Jackson is the BEST gym in town and the BEST PLANET FITNESS!!!! Thank you to all the staff members for all you do to keep the gym clean and keep the members feeling welcome!!

I moved here from Ohio and really missed PF!! When I got a gym membership to another establishment two years ago..it was because PF was new down here and the one I went to...I was pretty disappointed in. HOWEVER...this one is awesome. I was was happy that my other contract is up this month and didnt even wait..got a new membership here while I still had a month left on the old one. So close to our home in Fondren and so nice to see such a diverse clientele and staff!!!

The price is right. The equipment is excellent. Open 24 hours a day. Its clean and I notice members clean the machines before and after their workouts. Staff is great and friendly. Temperature is just right for working out. Plenty of options to select from.. cardio or weights. Whats not to like.

Great place to come workout and feel apart of something bigger or be completely left alone and zone out deep into a workout. Your choice. Highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to workout or be a member of.
