I am a Pastor in the Florissant Community. I speak the Truth when I say "THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! EVEN AFTER WE POINTED OUT THE SPOT WHEN WE LEFT THE ITEM, they still failed to clean our clothes. When we checked before leaving the store & saw that the spot remained, they cleaned it "while we waited," which proved it should have been cleaned at first. They now have a sign saying if you dont catch it when you pick up your items, you cant bring thrm back without additiInal charge. The counter-clerk refused to give us her name, nor a name or number to management to register our concerns. The only way to make a difference is to impact their bottom line," MONEY." Only if we, the community refuses to patronize them, will they receive an "effective" message. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

American completely ruined a sweater of mine several years ago, but I stupidly took a chance and took my husbands dress shirts there to be cleaned 2 weeks ago because there was a coupon in the Entertainment book. All three came back with NEW pink stains on the collars, as if someone had dropped juice in the rinse cycle. One of the shirts had a gritty substance on it, like maybe it was never cleaned, just pressed. AND, we were missing buttons. My fault for not checking them out more thoroughly before I left, because they have a policy of once you walk out the door, youve accepted their terrible job. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Horrible... I would not recommend this cleaners to anyone that wants there clothes properly cleaned. I wore my Michael Kors jacket a few times and its white so I decided to take it to American Cleaners only because its so close to my home. I found the same marks I sent it in with which indicated that they never cleaned it at all. If you want your clothes to be clean properly and treated well please do not use American Cleaners.

I just pick up my tuxedo shirt from American Cleaners and noticed that the buttons was melted down and i was told they are not responsible for that. And they did not even apologize just pointed to the sign and still charged me for the shirts. If you are a professional cloths cleaner then YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES YOU CAUSE! I will never use American Cleaners again.

They list my belt to my favorite cashmere coat. They would not do anything to compensate me for my coat or even refund the dry leaning cost because my receipt did not indicate the coat was given to them with a belt. I will never use this cleaner again. Pls check your receipt for exactly what you gave them. Their policies are not written in the customers interest.

I hate to write bad reviews. The clothes do not come back clean firstly and they little old lady in the afternoon scowls at you if you forget your ticket as if entering 7 numbers in a computer is so difficult. I could deal with the bad service but at the end of the day I need CLEAN clothes.

This is legit the worst cleaners. Wish u could upload pics to my review. Walked in to a teenage girl sitting cross legged on the counter while scrolling through her phone. Never even looked up when I walked in. Could not make this stuff up. Who are the owners? This place is horrible.

.this is Very nice place very kind & nice people.. I go here on the regular the service always extremely fabulous... yes Ive had things damaged but their only human... Ive been to other cleaners & ill pick A plus anyday...

Used to have nice older employees working there. Now several rude people work there. They offer next day laundry and they forget items. Stain removal is poor. Employees dont even apologize When they are in the wrong.
