My 3 yr. old started at University Preschool 3 months ago and so far it has been a very positive experience. Miss Connie the director of the school is very selective with her staff and her hands on approach has made this preschool the best in Reno. Teacher are all engaged at all times doing writing, reading and math with the children. The school is clean and neat snacks are given periodically throughout the day and my son is never sick. I have absolutely no reservations about leaving my son in their care. I literally cant begin to say enough about this school I know my son will be ahead of the game when he starts kindergarten. Worst day care in Reno. They charged me $270 dollars for one week because I chose to take her somewhere else. Wouldnt give me back any money and said it was my fault. What a joke. They are not developmentally appropriate and probably dont even know what that means. Wondering if any of them have any degrees in early childhood education because you want a director that understands and keeps up on their own education before they practice wrong tactics on your children. TMCC, UNR, Golden Goose, Caughlin day cares are all waaayyyyyyy better. For your childrens and wallets sake please dont take them there.

My son just started kindergarten and sadly we will miss everyone at University Preschool. He started when he was 2 and I cant imagine what we would have done without this school. I always knew he was in excellent hands, and the director met with me at least twice a year to plan his education. This school is the absolute best!!!

My son started he was 2. He is starting kindergarten this fall. He has learned so much, I cant imagine not having this school in our lives. The teachers and Director have been such an important part of our lives. I will miss everyone and will definitely bring my son back from time to time to see the staff.

I couldnt agree more with the first review! All of these centers are awful!!!!!!! They are not clean, and I have seen two of the 3, and was horrified!
