I recently moved to the area from Bergen County where I originally was getting my eyebrows done. I searched for a few eyebrow places in the area and found The Eyebrow Threading Bar in Garwood. The reason as to why I gave it a chance was because of the reviews and stars, but I am 100% disappointed. Normally my eyebrows are pretty thick and beautifully arched. When I sat down , I specifically explained to the person threading (Aruna) that I only wanted to clean them up and that I wanted them thick which I repeated more than two times. She said okay and proceeded to thread my brows. At the end I looked at myself in the mirror and was horrified!!! My eyebrows were a complete different shape and super super thin!!! Not to mention my right eyebrow looked all types of crazy! I then told her that they were thin and she went on and tried to make them look fuller by applying makeup powder on my brows and saying "next time Ill make them thicker" as if trying to cover up her mess. When I got home I washed the makeup powder off only to see them look worse. My birthday is next week, I am a complete mess and Ive been crying since. Due to her not listening to directions I no longer have thick eyebrows and I look a complete mess. My boyfriend ended up calling her and explaining to her how upset i was and her answer was "i did what i thought would look better".There is no way this woman is a professional! Do not waste your time! This was a nighmare. I repeat do not go here, unless you want to walk out with half your eyebrows gone.

This was the roughest threading I have ever received! I specifically asked her not to make them thin and told her that I just wanted to have them cleaned up and was extremely disappointed with what I received. My eyebrows are super thin and she made a statement that it needed to be done this way. She missed a couple of places that when I got home I had to pluck them because it looked ridiculous! I have sentive skin and I have bumps all over my forehead from the threading. I also asked her to do my upper lip and the last time I checked my upper lip was no where near my chin. She decided that she was going to just keep going until I told her to stop. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

If you go on the times shes not busy. And you have the time to be telling her how you wanna and look at the mirror every 15 seconds making sure she not taking extra hair out you can have a good eyebrow work done... as she start to get use to you and If she has more people around waiting for her she will rush and of course take extra hair and damage your eyebrow!... have happen that with me and I saw this happen with another costumer as I was waiting to get mine done! The costumer was crazy a aruma specially when she charged after damage her eyebrow! Very crazy, I wont go back after my own wxperience!

The woman who works here is a magician. She gave my eyebrows the most beautiful shape and I can tell you they were not very beautiful before I started going to her. If you cant seem to get an arch or you have very thin eyebrows or if you still wax and dont get why threading is better or really if you just want to look ~fleaky~ then go to her. As a bonus she is very friendly and such a sweet woman. She offers great package deals so she can slowly fix your messed up brows. Five stars Im never going anywhere else.

Recently relocated and was on the search for a great threading place . So happy I found the threading bar in Garwood! Aruna is the absolute sweetest and she takes her time to assure your satisfaction with the shape. There is also a customer loyalty card that gets you a free service on the tenth visit. Along with free parking which makes it really convenient and beats having to walk through a busy mall. Highly recommend this place wont be going Anywhere else!

I went in hoping this wouldnt be another failed threading experience, as Ive had many. Fortunately, I can say I am very pleased with the results. I wish I wouldve caught her name, but the lady that attended me took time to listen to I wanted and paced herself to assure she wasnt taking off more than I was comfortable with. It was a very pleasant experience and Ill definitely be going back.

My first experience at The Eyebrow Bar was amazing ! Aruna was so kind to my sister and I. We talked for a very long time and she made us laugh. She did my eyebrows so good! My eyebrows looked horrible prior to going there and Aruna did them so good. She also did henna on both hands, it looked so beautiful. The prices are good as well. If you go there, ask for Aruna! Shes awesome!

I come here (and my girls) and get my eyebrows and waxing done. Aruna is great, shes so nice and always is concerned about your how youre doing. Shes goes above and beyond to make sure youre comfortable during your time with her. I love coming here and seeing Aruna. Shes also funny. You should come here and check this place out. This place is greta! They make sure to ask you what shape you want. Other eyebrow places leave my eyebrows looking thin and remove too much of my hair. I instructed the worker to leave them thick and thats exactly what she (Aruna)did. I felt comfortable in their space and definitely will be returning. Highly recommend this place to my friends.

By far the best place to get your eyebrows done!! Love love love!!! I was in and out in 5 minutes didnt even hurt at all! I have very sensitive skin and normally I get red but not only am I not red at all but my eyebrows look amazing!! Thank you this is Definitely the Only place I will ever let touch my eyebrows again!!

I love this place, I was looking for somewhere to get my eyebrows threaded in NJ after moving from Philadelphia and this spot is very good! My eyebrows always come out clean. No redness! Less pain than wax and way better for your skin! No Residue, bumps, or irritation. Aruna is very good! Lovely woman :)

I have been looking for a good threading place for awhile now and finally came across this gem! They do a great job of shaping your brows and listen to your preferences ( i.e. Dont do it too thin if you say you dont want it that way). Prices are very reasonable and they are very friendly.
