Now where to start with this one...My 14m old daughter was there for 4 weeks, and today we had enough. We are puling her out immediately, and she will not step a foot in that place again. First when we came, they were all nice, smiling, and friendly...When we dropped off our daughter for the first time, they were not nearly as friendly. First day, she caught a severe cold...ok kids get colds in day cares, normal thing, BUT when we saw that one of the women working in her classroom is giving her freezing cold milk from the fridge, a child that has a cold, and coughing, we warned her, and she was like...oh ok. i wasnt aware. Seriously???? Next day, freezing cold food from the fridge, without being heated up...and the same teacher again..."Oh really? We will heat it up from now on. There are a lot of kids here so we cant worry about stuff like that all the time." - No comment needed on this! Third day she got a severe diarrhea, and they were changing her dipper every 2 hours, because of which she got a very bad rash that converted into a fungal infection. After we asked multiple times, and at the end said: “You need to change her more often this is happening because of your neglect.” one of the workers there said (girl with curly red hair, cant recall the name): “If you think that we are gonna change her every 30-40 mins that is not going to happen!” I AM SORRY,WHAT???? For the money this place costs they better do what the parent asked you. This continued the whole time she was there for these 4 weeks, and people there just never cared for what we asked, or told them, or complained about. She was constantly getting worse and worse over this short period. On the weekend she would get better, we take her back there, she gets a cold, a rash, a diarrhea all over… Last straw was today when we got there to pick her up, one of the teachers said: “Oh she was not feeling well, she was coughing, unhappy, and vomited a couple of times…etc! Oh by the way, one of the infants contracted a Coxsackie virus, today, so be aware of the possible symptoms, let me give you a printout.” In translation, oh we have a Coxsackie outbreak so be on alert please. (for people who don’t know this can be a very mild viral infection, but in rare cases can be very dangerous and become very severe). Symptoms such as, sore throat, vomiting, fever, swollen and runny eyes…exactly what my daughter now has… In these 4 weeks we had to take our daughter 3 times to the doctor, stuff her with different kind of medication, and treat her for different kind of issues, which no parent should do to a child that had a cold once in 14m since she was born. Now i don’t know what they are doing there, but i know one thing, they definitely miss the CARE in their facility. On top of that all, very rude staff, unprofessional and obviously without any knowledge of how to take care of these kids. If you love your child, and I’m sure you do, more than anything, keep it out of this place. Don’t even drive by it since there might be another viral infectious disease waiting around the corner, and the staff will professionally not care! 10/15 - An addition, and follow up on my review above. My daughter is hospitalized for pneumonia, and is a needle cushion for the hospital staff right now. This is what trusting these people with my child got me. Stay away in a wide circle from this place!!!!!!! If there would be less than 1 star i would give it!!!

Ive toured several preschools and daycares in the area this summer looking for a program for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. this was by far my worst experience. The director was not friendly or welcoming at all and did not even speak to or introduce herself to my child. She was unable to provide any literature or information on the curriculum that the school uses. She did not know if there was any discounts for teachers (as I am a kindergarten teacher and many other LEs offer educator discounts). The classroom we visited was small and had cheap toys versus sturdy, durable learning materials and manipulatives. There were about 11 children at the time I visited and they were sitting 5 to a table eating lunch with 1 child eating alone at a separate table/desk. The children were not talking to each other nor were the teachers interacting with the children during this time. One teacher was getting mats ready for rest time and the other was writing on a clipboard. Possible parent notes which is acceptable to me to do that during down time of lunch but I would have liked to hear some music in the background or at least 1 of the teachers engaging the children in conversation. When I asked the director why the 1 student was sitting and eating alone, she simply said I dont know. She did not ask the teachers or go any further. I then asked what the discipline policy was and she said positive reinforcement and redirecting. This child clearly looked like he had been in trouble and was sitting by himself as a result. This is unacceptable to me for this age and especially unacceptable if you tell me your discipline philosophy is redirection. None of the staff seemed welcoming, warm or friendly to myself or my child. I would not be able to sleep at night sending my child there.

I finally have time to leave feedback on this daycare. This TLE is consistently under staffed and Ive heard from other parents that the state was called on multiple instances because they are under staffed. There WERE good teachers but the problem is that when you find a good teacher they seem to be gone a few moths later leaving your kid under the care of someone else who doesnt even care at all. A lot of the workers are not very welcoming and the TLE is more of an outside appearance with no care on the inside for the kids. They dont find a problem collecting your money but when you ask questions or have any concerns how the classrooms and place is being managed they leave you in the dark. We ended up pulling our child from there and havent looked back. We strongly suggest that you take the time to know what kind of people your kid is being left with and observe how this place is being ran. FYI - if you read the first review from Corrine, a so called "parent", please realize that this is THE OWNER who left a fake review to boost the ratings of this place which I find both disturbing and sad. Now Im curious if the other reviews were from made up accounts or her workers that were advised to write positive reviews so they wouldnt lose their "business". This about your kids well being and not about the money.

My son has been at TLE since it opened in 2012. When he first started he was sick often. ( This is common when children are building their immunity) But the staff always took great care of him and always notified my promptly when he needed to be picked up. His teachers have been great and my son loves going to school here. My son has asthma and Miss Mara always takes the time out to give him his treatments when needed. This summer they took the class on field trips and my son had a great time. The center is very clean, and state of the art. they have a fabulous outdoor play area as well as a great indoor area for the kids to play. I feel better about going to work knowing that my son is in the hands of the staff at TLE Lyndhurst.
