This place was a lucky find. My group was driving across New Jersey and with a desire for Indian food I picked a restaurant purely based on location. And as it turned out I could not have done better. Mt. Laurel may not be as as competitive for Indian restaurants as places like Edison or Jersey City, but Flavors of India could stand up to any of them in food, and probably exceed them in service. Our group of four had assorted Pakora for appetizer, then Tikka Masala, Gosh Madras (my favorite), Lamb Kabab, and a Kheema Dosa. Each in full Thali dinner, well-presented with nice portions. The total came out to about $70, lower than wed expect for such a feast. We all left very full and satisfied. I should also compliment the service. We did BYOB, but the staff was so attentive our water glasses never emptied. They were ready with explanations for some who were unfamiliar with the cuisine, but didnt feel oppressive to those of us more familiar. And when I was tempted to order a Naan basket on the side, the owner(?) let me know that it wouldnt be necessary given the Thali inclusion. He was correct. Minor things they could improve on would include the decor. It was plain, not bad but unmemorable. And I would have preferred more variety to the Naan with the meal. It was good, but I bet their Garlic Naan would have been even better. Sadly I dont visit that area often so I dont know when Ill get to go back. But I would certainly try if I was in the area. Five stars.

Very Bad Experience. This Sunday we had lunch buffet here. Except few items the food was not good - The idly was dry , vada was burned out too much. - The order of food placement was very bad with sweet payasam placed in the corner with non-veg..It is very awkward for veg eaters. - Worst of all, before even we finish eating they just brought in our bill without asking. Also we noticed that there is 12% service charge.. I have never seen a 12% service charge on the buffet service. When checked with the service person, they are changing back and forth on their word and saying the system automatically calculates. - The service is very bad. - Our family is with my parents, wife and two kids. The moment we entered the service man came and asked how old is my son. - For the Naan, which they are serving to the table with buffet, they just served one Naan for people of six and we had to ask them two more times to refill. we expect them to check with us or serve more in the beginning. They are not even realizing the customers are not happy.. I think, they would soon go out of business. I would never visit here again. There are lot of other good Indian restaurants around.

I took my wife there for a special occation lunch on Friday. I was a little nervous, because I knew nothing about them and I REALLY wanted to make it a special lunch for my wife. Can I tell you, that they surpassed every expectaion! We both had the luch buffet, and the food was absolutly wonderful! Everything was fresh and VERY good! The service was absolutely great as well! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpfull. The manager was super friendly, and asked us how we liked the food and if the spices were good (they were excellent). We had a great experience and will be going back. The food was A++++

The food at Flavors has such rich flavors of India and is also wonderfully delicious than most of the restaurants in the US. Had samosas, naans and biryani among others for main course and gulab jamun/gajar ka halwa for dessert- delicious! I have been to quite a lot of Indian restaurants not just in this country but in India as well, but the menu at this place is quite widely inclusive of all the Indian cuisines.Great ambiance and super friendly staff, Id recommend this place for anybody with a taste for authentic Indian food. I will certainly visit again very soon!

I would never go to flavors of India again. The service was unacceptable. The papad was all burnt and old , they had no AC on. The vegetables they cooked where so sweet when we ordered spicy. They brought out the shak before the bread so all the food got cold. Also the waiter he was just standing there doing nothing. There were flies by the area we were dining. I wouldnt recommend going there. The service was horrible.

While the flavors are rather delightful, I did not find much else to be noteworthy. Hair (short grey/white) was found in both my husbands and my dishes, the service was slow, the rice was crunchy, dishes and silverware were not cleaned properly, dishes not usually spicy had almost chokingly hot heat to them... We really wanted to go to this one to try it because of the high reviews...but were disappointed.

I am from Houston and was here for business visit. The palak paneer was the best. Generally, this curry tastes a bit bitter. But here, it was really good. I also liked Gobi Manchurian, biryani and mango kulfi. One drawback, not too many veg options. I would definitely recommend this place and would come whenever I am here

One of the best Indian restaurants in South Jersey by far! You wouldnt know it by their location, but they are on par with more expensive, trendier restaurants like Indeblue. They stand head and shoulders above the overpriced Monsoon and all of the many Voorhees/Marlton area buffets. Stop in and see what I mean!

The service was good, but I couldnt find anything in their buffet that I liked. Indian cuisine is one of my favorites, but I did not think their quality in ingredients or preparation was good at all. I wanted to like it since it is so close to my house. Some of it made me queasy.

This is probably my favorite Indian restaurant. I go out of my way to visit all the way from Bordentown, NJ. The service is impeccable, the food is very diverse but with the usual American favorites included in the menu, and the taste of the food is spot on.

Overall okay in the initial stages.... But..No good selection of food now a days, food taste is blank. Had chicken biriyani and chicken was stale/bad.... Daal was bad, only thing you can eat well in this restaurant is Roti and yogurt/curd rice....

Its very over priced for the quality of food. Worst dish, Panner Tikka Masala, we ever tasted. Bland, undet salted. Rotis were rock solid, in just 5 mins. We had to throw it. This restaurant really needs a change in the kitchen staff.

Just ate there on Monday 2/15 and everyone in my family had stomach issues. Food and service quality have truly taken a turn for the worse. Definitely will not be going back there - all I ask is that if you do venture there, be aware.

We were not in for burnt papad, burnt garlic naan half cooked chicken tandoori and still not sure if it was butter chicken! We ended up eating yogurt rice. Luckily we are not from this neighborhood! Good luck folks.

Not very authentic if you are from that part of the world. Too much use of curry powder and food color. Its good for certain audience who have no idea of good Indo/Pakistan cuisine. Not impressed.
