Literally the worst haircut experience of my life, so bad I actually stopped at the library on my way to class write this. I went there for an emergency haircut, I have a presentation at work in the morning and because of my night class I wouldn’t be able to go to my normal barber. I walked in and there was one person working there who was pissed of that I even was there, he rolled his eyes when walked in. I should have turned around and left but I didn’t. Then came the haircut... oh my god, he left patches of long hair surrounded by short hair. Messed up the back of my head and used so old clippers that kept cutting my neck and then cut one side of my head shorter than the other and left the top uneven and spotty. NJIT Students beware, do not go there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am also pretty sure most of the reviews on here are bullshit.

I came here with my husband who had a cut with Kelly,and she was amazing too.Hes never been able to find a good hair cut/style since his hair is super thick,so hes just used to getting it buzzed all around. But she was great, taking a lot of time and not using the clippers at all. Everyone there is super gracious, welcoming, and most importantly, consistently awesome.

This is the best Barbershop Ive been to. Its a nice chilled, relaxed, quiet spot. The Barber are very detailed oriented when it comes to cutting ur hair. They do exactly what u want and u come out looking fresh. I would recommend BlockHead to anyone who want their haircut, people of all ethnicities.

The name says salon but they dont do scissor cuts... you need to fix that shouldnt have to waste my time walking all the way there. No one answers the phone number thats posted either it just has an answering machine. Avoid this sketchy ass spot they seem unprofessional.

Such a convenient place! Right across the street from campus, fair prices, & student discounts, definitely an awesome salon. Lines are sometimes a pain, but the attention to detail and the quality of the cuts make it worth the wait.

Great place, this became my regular barbershop after I discovered it last summer. I get the best hair cuts from blockhead. Its right across the street from NJIT library and I got a free $5 gift card :D

I love the atmosphere of the shop & my haircuts from Crystal. Shes always so detailed & knows her stuff. I look forward to treating myself every few months. Definitely check it out!

Went there yesterday and enjoyed it. Haircut was $15 plus tip: the barber was very careful, attentive and did a great job (even my wife liked my haircut). NJIT students: go for it!
