Salon sashay is the hidden secret of Short Hills. I recently moved here and was looking for a new stylist . I just pass by and gave them a try . Oscar gave me a the best haircut . My hair is pretty thick and very difficult to style but this professional man was awesome. Dont let me forget to say Billian is the best hair colorist . She gives you the best shampoo it forces you to relax and when it comes to Blow drying this woman is an A+++. I give her a ten! I come out with a very straight shiny hair that last for days all the time . She is an expert . Don the owner pampers you with coffee , water and snacks . Give it a try folks . You will not regret it. Im very happy with this Salon. Im here to stay

He was very professional and created a comfortable environment. He was skilled in the application of the chemical process however the haircut was by far the worst haircut I have ever had in my entire life. He totally ignored the pictures I showed him and decided to give me a terrible slick back bluntly cut across the back. When I reminded him of the style I wanted, and was paying top dollar for, he made a half hearted attempted at blowing it into the shape in the picture I showed him. It was a frizzy unfinished mess and I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed after paying $125. Never. Again.

I recently noticed that a new salon/barber shop opened next to my store. I happened to need a cut and figured Id give it a go. From the moment I walked in the owner Don was pleasant and helpful. I made an appointment for later that day and was welcomed with coffee and cucumber scented water which was very nice. Oscar my new barber was helpful and attentive to what I was looking for. He gave me a wonderful haircut and made sure it was to my liking. Needless to say I will be back a Salon Sashay, very soon.

I just moved from NYC and was looking for a salon to get a hair cut. I tried Salon Sashay based on good reviews but I feel Oscar is just a mediocre hair stylist. Oscar is a nice man but he is just not that good at what he does. I still see grey hair after glaze process and my hair was not even on the side. I had to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed. Will look more for a better stylist in the area.

Loved this place!! Im always challenged with finding a good stylist who knows how to work with naturally curly hair. Today I had a great experience with Oscar. He analyzed, took his time and made good suggestions. Everything from the welcoming hospitality of Don to the calm ambiance, its a jewel. Thank you for a great experience!

A Good Catch.......... Forget about looking for another salon. Right by the train station in Short Hills I found a dynamic staff of hair designers. I was given a unique cut,color,and style. Prices reasonable. Staff welcoming and friendly. I walked out feeling revitalized and booked my next appointment.Thanks Oscar and Don.

The owner, Don, is as courteous and friendly as they come in any business, and the stylist, Oscar, is simply excellent. If you come in to Salon Sashay Studio, expect a fantastic haircut in a warm, friendly environment.
