I know from years of personal experience how terrible of a daycare system this is. These people are uneducated in early childhood education and promote policies that will only have negative effects on the children. As a major in Early Childhood Education, they are doing the exact opposite of what Ive been taught in school. In fact, the community college I attend has banned this daycare from being apart of internships. The daycare has also been banned from a childs musuem when several onlookers complained that teachers were yelling and wagging fingers in small childrens faces. There are also many pending lawsuits against this daycare, as well as various injuries that have been aqcuired to the children that attend. There have been 3 directors within a 7 year period, and teachers have come in and out like flies. People are hired without even having fingerprint checks come through first, and are left alone on their first day without training. Many arent certified to be head teachers, and also many are not trained in CPR. Children are moved around often at the end of the day, leaving parents to come in not knowing where to pick their child up, and missing belongings have piled up rapidly. Many of these people also lack class, respect, or interest towards the children in general... and are involved in outside activities including illegal drug use, homelessness, CPS charges, and more. The boss and directors main concern is money- which is the main reason why this daycare fails as a whole. Punishment is often given to the children such as extended periods of time-out in the front office, whistle-blowing, etc. Overall, DO NOT BRING YOURE CHILDREN HERE!

I have to say honestly this is one of the worst day cares I have ever sent my child too. Since hes been(couple months) there hes been bitten in the face, given to me with snot all over his face, has caught pink eye, eaten a rock, and just recently was diagnosed with HFM. When he was bitten everyone had a different story to what was put on the incident report. When he was taken outside he picked up a rock NO ONE WAS WATCHING and the one who noticed it was my mother when she came to pick him up. Maybe they are under staffed I dont know. I will give them a star because they are very accommodating when it comes to the prices of tuition but Id pay full price if I my child would get better care. I would not recommend this place to any mothers especially first time mothers like myself. Take from it what you want. But now i have to watch my child suffer because of the lack of cleanliness.

I returned to work when my son was 4 months old. Being an educator myself, I checked out every "center" close to Route 9 from Cold Spring to Wappingers. After doing a TON of research and checking references (after all, I am a crazy first-time mother) I chose the Kiddie Academy. I have been pleased with our experiences thus far. The staff has been attentive to my son, communicate openly with me, and have put my mind at ease. His room is clean and orderly, and I feel that they put safety first. I was also impressed by the progression of classrooms. I was shown lesson plans that are age-appropriate and cover a variety of activities across different academic content areas. I was looking for a center my child could "grow" with, and I am looking forward to working with Kiddie Academy for the next few years!

So happy to have Kiddie Academy of Fishkill in our lives. Both of my children attend and I am very happy with the relationship they have with the staff. For five years now it has been a life saver for me and my family. Started out as a working single mom and felt so safe sending my daughter each day. As hard as it was to leave her because Id miss her, I knew she was in good hands. Now I have a son that has been going since two months old. He is also very comfortable with the staff. Both of my children have learned how to interact with other children here. And my daughter was very well prepared for Kindergarten well before even entering. Everyone is always very welcoming and helpful. It has been a true blessing having Kiddie Academy in our lives these past five years. :)

My daughters have both attended Kiddie Academy of Fishkill since they were babies. They are now 5 and 7. Our oldest enjoys the crafts and games they make and play in the "Pirates Cove" room with Mr. Joe. She also completes her homework with Mr. Joes guidance (a big accomplishment for an ADHD child). Our little one just graduated from their Pre-K program and is reading sight word books! Thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Kiddie Academy I know she will do well in Kindergarten. My wife and I are very happy with their attention to our childrens special needs (food allergies & asthma). They have staff certified in giving medications such as our little ones inhaler. We are very happy and will continue to use Kiddie Academy for our childcare needs.

Our little guy (15 mo) has been at Kiddie Academy for a month now and we love it! Theyve been extremely flexible regarding his schedule as we wanted to gradually get him used to being separated from Mommy during the day. He enjoys the food, the activities and especially the playground. He also LOVES his teacher!!! We love the security of the building and that everything is clean, bright and colorful, and that the staff seem to genuinely enjoy being with the kids. Even staffers who dont work with infants know who my little guy is; teachers I havent even met know him by name and greet/bid him farewell as we walk through the halls. Were very happy that we found Kiddie Academy and would recommend it to anyone!

My wife and I have a Three month old daughter who started at this daycare a few weeks ago. My wife was so distraught over leaving her for the first time outside of family, since our daughter isnt good with strangers. The staff not only was very attentive to my child but to my wife as well. It made me feel very confident in my decision in Kiddie Academy. I have yet to have a problem; if we ask for updates we get phone calls, her nap chart and daily activity log is always complete, and we are always welcomed to visit. It truly makes me feel good as a father and husband to see my ladies so happy every morning. My child LOVES her teachers and we havent had a problem at drop off. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

There is a very low class unprofessional, uneducated group of people running this place as of now. Woman that act very low class and careless because the minute your concerned about your child you get a laugh in your face and a sarcastic reply. They act concerned so they can gossip and look down on you. Very dirty. They let sick kids attend. My three kids came home home with 103 fevers and vomited on the way back home. I called kiddie academy and asked if anyone was sick. Miss C told me several kids had some sort of virus all week. Thanks for letting me KNOW! Just a bunch of lazy older women that have a horrible approach with children and try to stick their noses where they dont belong.

I am a mother of a two year old who attended Kiddie Academy over the summer. His experience was wonderful! The teachers were friendly, and always met the request of the parents. The short time that my son attended he benefitted for the best. He learned how to communicate better with other children and I loved that he was used to a routine. They also worked very well with him potty training. Overall I am very happy with sending my son here and would highly recommend it!
