My then fiance, and now husband took private lessons with Michelle for our first dance. We wanted to do a contemporary routine to "I Love You, Always Forever" by Donna Lewis, keep in mind neither of us have had any training whatsoever! Michelle choreographed a whole routine for us and even cut the music herself so we didnt have to embarrass ourselves for more than 3 minutes! She was very mindful of what we wanted and what we were capable of and was able to alter any moves and parts of the routine to our abilities. We had so much fun with the routine and we got so many compliments on our first dance at the wedding. Most being, "Best first dance ever!" Michelle was very easy to work with and was able to work around our busy schedules. With only 1.5 months to get the routine down, she helped us make a beautiful, memorable and fun first dance. Studio E School of Dance had students from the non-profit organization, Culture For One whose special mission is to to expose children in foster care to the arts and cultural activities of New York City. I went to the classes a few times and was thrilled to see how the girls were enjoying dance. They became more confident and poised as a result. The owner and her daughter are delightful. My daughters been dancing at Studio E for three years now. She had been dancing a a couple of others before but we were not very happy there. I have to say that Studio E is like a second home to us. The owners and staff are very professional and so kind. The dance instructors are extremely talented and my daughter absolutely loves them all. Were here to stay. Were very happy to be a part of this Studio. And I have to say the shows they put on every year are fabulous!

My mom placed me at Studio E when I was 3 years old and I stuck with it ever since. The classes, faculty, and students have become my second family, basically a safe haven. Dance has helped me express and learn more about myself. It has taught me patience, discipline, perseverance, and challenges me emotionally, mentally, and physically.
