"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." - Confucius When I read this quote I thought about Rebecca Balbach. An incredible teacher who loves her job more than anyone I know . As a student, parent or even just an observer you can see that teaching ballet is way more than just a job to her. The way she teaches her classes truly shows her love and passion for ballet and her desire to share this beautiful art form with each of her students. The amount of hard work and dedication that Mrs.Rebecca puts into her dance school and each student is beyond compare. If you want to get real ballet education with proper technique and have a teacher who has been properly trained herself, then I would strongly recommend Balbach School of Dance. Rebecca does not favorite any student or puts any individual above the others. Instead she makes every student strive to better themselves rather than compete with each other. As a student I have seen a great improvement in myself throughout time. When I first came to Balbach School of Dance I loved the fact that instead of saying " Good Job " all the time with me knowing I was doing something wrong, she corrected my mistakes one by one and made sure I understood each of the correction. The first day of class I was already learning terminology and working on executing proper technique . After that day I continued to work harder each day and was eagerly waiting for my next class to start. A good dance teacher is someone who has a lot of knowledge of what they are teaching, gives corrections when needed, makes sure you fully understand why a correction is given and why something is done that way, and cares deeply about her students success. Rebecca Balbach fulfills all of those qualities which is why Balbach School of Dance is the right place to go when looking for a proper ballet education. Not only will it help your child grow as a dancer , but will make them a strong, persistent and hard working individual.

Ive had my 3 girls attending Balbach School of Dance for 4 years now. Rebecca is truly an exceptional teacher; she cares for each of her students and takes time during class with each one individually to make sure they are learning proper and safe techniques while having fun. I see too many instructors pushing students to do "tricks" and learn techniques which they are not ready for developmentally just so parents can ooh and aah. Rebecca understands that learning properly at the correct pace is the only way to build a strong foundation for dance. She has a very calming demeanor that encourages students to learn and builds confidence in them, and thats why I trust my girls with her.

Ms. Balbach is truly a professional ballet teacher. With her years of experience in both the professional world of dance, to the way she works with children, she is remarkable. After visiting other schools, I find that Ms. Balbach is wonderful to work with, communicates with all parents and students with grace and poise, and is holding the education of our youth to a higher standard then any other school around. I highly recommend her to all interested in a strong ballet education.

You will learn true classical ballet at this school! I took classes for many years and Rebecca is very knowledgeable in the russian method. She teaches much more than just the moves of ballet, she teaches you the art and the meaning behind it all.
