I have been going to GN Auto Tech for the past 20 years and have never been concerned about my automobiles. The shop has been owned by Val for a very long time. He and his team of mechanics are competent, honest, accommodating, flexible and a pleasure to deal with. They will never say something needs repair unless it really needs it. I can honestly say I have never been taken advantage of or ripped off. It is rare these days to find honest and competent mechanics but happy to say Great Neck Auto Tech is top notch and second to none. Whether or not you have a brand new Porsche or a 20 year old Chevy, these guys know what they are doing and do it great. I highly recommend and happy to see they have been a staple in the Great Neck area for such a long time.

First I must start off by saying that John & Val are really outstanding and will go to any length to help there customer. They will also give you time even they are very busy which they are all the time. They are HONEST, reliable and when they say you need a part whatever it might be for your truck/car you know it will be done. When it comes to appointments Rose the Office Manager is there to help in anyway she can .. She as well is very willing to do whatever she can to help. They are A # 1 in my book ...Ive been with them for years and now Im moving out of state, wish I could take them with me. ...

This is hands down the best and most honest auto repair shop I have ever encountered. Val always repairs your car at low prices, and will throw in things for cheap/free if it was additional to what he originally described. Also, we have purchased batteries through Val, and he replaced it for free when it died in less than a year (and it was our fault, the battery was of really good quality). He often will do this with other parts as well. In a place like Great Neck where mechanics are always out to get your money, Val is a breath of fresh air.

I finally decided to see them after my son in law suggested for years. They are unreal. Theyre from another planet being so good. Wow what nice people and soooo professional. I cant say enough. Just use them period. Youll be safe and extremely satisfied. Actually I think Ive been overpaying big time at the Mercedes dealer.

Great service. Stopped in for a small project and mechanic did it straight away and made me feel like he was happy to help. No wait and actual customer service acumen! Highly recommended. Worth traveling a little off the beaten path.
