I cant believe how rude this woman was behind the cake counter. This was my first time there and my cake was boxed and tucked behind a sign, after waiting a couple minutes I asked the blonde girl who showed up behind the counter , she is not the one who took my order, if it was mine and she said "well did you order a tower?" I said I dont know, because as I said this was my first time and I didnt know the fricken vernacular of Cheesecake Factory, in my head I ordered a slice of chocolate cake. Then she says "Well this isnt yours then is it?" I was kind of taken aback by her attitude which she then informed myself and the two people that were with me that she "doesnt have an attitude, I dont even work up here, I dont know whats going on, Im too high to do this right now!" I just wanted a slice of cake for my birthday and it was an inconvience to this cun t of a staff member. This was THE WORST customer service experience Ive ever seen in my life and I work in a restaurant, granted its way more upscale than cheese cake factory. This happened on April 2nd 2017 at approximately 2:30 pm, so if you need to look at the schedule and figure out who was working the cake counter so you can promptly fire this person, I cant believe she said she was high on drugs! What was happening here?! I ate my cake outside and could find a garbage can, so I went inside and threw it in on the counter, hope she could figure out how to use a receptacle and throw it away.

THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE IN THIS PLACE DO NOT GO! Initially extremely crowded on a Thurs night, ok so we waited for the waiter to come by and give us menus, which took 30 mins, the drinks another 30 mins. I gave them the benefit of the doubt cause it looked very busy, however the crowd died down and there were empty seats. We order our food and I waited a full 50 mins and by that time my party was upset and we got the manager who finally got us the food, without any utensils or napkins. Finding our waiter took 15 mins.(I am not exaggerating any of the wait time nor finding the "correct" waiter..) The food was decent, however because the service was so back I will not return again. Another thing that upset me was my party was large and initially they spilt the tab for the 2 tables but when it came to pay the bill a 18% gratitude was AUTOMATICALLY added to the tab. If there was a negative for the service I would have given it to them THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE IN THIS PLACE DO NOT GO!

My group waited 30 minutes after being buzzed up for a table to finally be seated. Once we got to our table we waited an additional 20 minutes before our server even asked us what we wanted to drink. The server told two of the guest in my party that the restaurant was out of the meal they chose in the rudest manner. He walked up to the table and tossed two menus on the table in front of them and said " we are out of the buffalo wings and the bacon bacon cheese burger" the server then walked off. At this point my party just got up and proceeded to leave the restaurant. I stopped to tell a manger about the problems we had but she said that its a busy night. That is not an excuse for bad customer service. I am really disappointed and probably will not return.

This was one of my all time favorite places to go to during my college days. Everyone loves cheesecakes, so why not dine at the Cheesecake Factory! The lines are usually long, but the wait is worthwhile, since the food here is really good. The menu has many selections to choose from, so there is something good for everyone. The portions are humongous, so you don’t have to worry about leaving this place hungry. To cap of the night, you should try their many selections of cheesecakes; my favorite was the black tuxedo, which is basically a chocolate cheesecake with whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If only they had a Cheesecake Factory in NYC, I would bring all my friends there for any occasions.

We arrived at 7:30 and ate at 10. I understand that every restaurant can have an off night, but we were forgotten about, lied to, ignored, and just blatantly neglected. They forgot about us and seated parties the same size as ours before my party, even though some of them had arrived 45 minutes after mine did. They lied to us and said theyd called us and wed missed it even though we were right next to the host stand. They told us wed get the next table, and over the next half hour ignored us while still they sat three more parties the same size as ours while ignoring us. No apologies or explanations were given, and we were neglected the entire visit. I used to love this place, but I wont be returning.

I have been reading these comments and think you as the owner should be replying to everyone who is unhappy. Looking at it everyday for new ones to reply. You might want to be in your establishment(s) more often to oversee you investment that pays your bills. Talk to your customers. Watch your staff, check out your kitchen. People love to eat at great places, with great food, nice atmosphere and great service. A place to bring more friends and family. I for one have been in both the Bay Shore and Smithaven several times and I would say it was good. So far and hope it says that way. Thanks.

Me and 10 other people waited over an hour and a half before we left because we didnt get seated. There was plenty of open areas and seats but the servers said they were waiting for some people to leave in order to sit us. I understand that it was around 2 hours before the closing the kitchen time but that shouldnt have matter on what seats are open to use; that is just bad business. I have been there before and have had great experiences with great service but because of this, it ruied my desire to go there again. Im sorry to say I would that I would never go again due to this one time.

very poor customer service. we had to wait for 30 min. to be seated, also we didnt get any small plates for our appetizers, we had to request them. The food was a disaster. Weve been there with our parents and the noodles were not fully cooked, the fries too salty and the Jamaican dish we usually get, was sweet instead of sour. In addition to that, we got offered more water, but never received any! And when we have mentioned it to our waitress, she didnt even bother to apologize or offering something else.The whole stay at cheesecake factory was terrible!!! It is definitely overrated!

Same look and atmosphere as the rest of the chain, with a friendly staff and well kept restaurant. The food offers a good selection, and they can easily adjust meal options for you. I came here fathers day with family thinking it would be crowded, but instead found a nice open table before the mid morning rush. Food came out fast, and everything was prepared just as asked, tasted delicious. While we didnt opt for the cheese cake that time, every other time I have gotten it I find it worth every penny spent. Come here for the desert, and be surprised by the pleasant entrees.
