The absolute worst agency I have ever dealt with in NYC. Insanely unprofessional, to the point I wonder how they are still in business. You go in and you realize 80% of the place is empty and its just a handful of people left. The ones there were the opposite of helpful. No one has looked at your resume before hand. You fill out the forms, wait and then they have no idea what to do with you. So you get passed around waiting for someone who knows what they are doing. The four people I worked with were useless. Completely conflicting advice. No professionalism. One women kept referring to me as an adorable puppy. Then went on and on about signs and how Im such a Sag. Then went on and on about her kids then after about ten minutes had nothing. She told me to email her and I did and nothing, I went back a few months ago out of desperation and wow. The next/last nut job just yelled at me after someone handed me off to her. She looked at my resume and started to scream at me how I am overqualified for the job she has and there is no way Id be there long. She was accusing me of just taking it to run away later. It was insane. Even her coworkers seemed a little taken aback. Then I was told that how she always is?!?!?!?!?!?!?? Avoid this place. Avoid it hard.

It is unbelievable how INCOMPETANT this agency is. I am currently a temp through this agency and am just astounded at the small tasks that they seem incapable of completing. I just dont understand how an agency that is responsible for staffing job sites is incapable of staffing their own office with competent individuals. I am constantly doing their job for them (for instance I was told there were no temp positions available in my area when I had a temp position that contacted me and was trying to hire me specifically through Winston and they seemed unaware.) My agent does not respond to emails or phone calls. I called and asked for my pay check to be mailed out and they had never done so. I am told from a fellow employee that it happens to her all the time. Its just disorganized chaos over there. I dont know what they are doing but clearly no one was trained in anything. I never write reviews like this but I am just baffled at the level of stupidity and had to say something.

I suffered a major layoff to a point of devastation in 2009. Immediatley to keep my mortgage afloat and supporting my minor son, I got out there. Winston picked me up on line and I came in nicely dressed and great resume - tested well told and then ushered out the door. Panic struck 2 months later and I was told by the agent shed keep trying for me and shed be in touch weekly. Well I started going to other agents and contacted her once a week. She blurted out at me one Friday "well maybe if you lost 20 pounds and updated your hairstyle you might land a job sooner I dont know - I dont want to have this conversation any longer and hung up on me". Well, I am still determined to try with another agent.

My experience with Winston Staffing was great! I met an awesome recruiter, Cristina Vargas who helped me through job experiences. When I joined Winston on January 2016, I did not have experience, just my degree from college and one volunteer service. Cristina Vargas is a great, helpful and patient acquisition, she will make the effort to search either a temporary or permanent positions. With her help and dedication, I got hired in an non-profit organization. I truly recommend you or anyone to Cristina, she is the best, very responsible, organize and prompt. I will thank her always and forever. -Celine Torres

Yes I called because I referred to them by a friend. I called and the lady told me to send resume. I sent my resume within 5 minutes. I didnt hear from her all day. I called the next day and she said to send it again, so I did and as of today have not heard back from anyone. Not a courtesy call or anything. I have 15 years and more experience in the work field, I feel my resume was very impressive but I guess they didnt think so. Its ok, I found a great agency where they are very courteous, caring and professional.

Terrible company! I had a recruiter by the name of Monique Allen who literally sent me too offices who were never hiring or four other people who just interviewed for the same employer on a temp assignment! Really was a waist of time and carfare being spent! Very heartless and cut throat individual! Whatever you do stay away from this agency! I was told I would be employed the day after Memorial Day! Big Lie and Vindictive young woman!

I have been in this agency for 6 months, and this agency is not doing their job! My agent was Carol Carlton, and she makes big promises and her promises are all fake, and shes very aggressive and she has a big mouth! I am VERY disappointed about her, because she made me to bring a lot of papers and she made me go back and forth for nothing!Im gonna recommend you to NOT use this agency, ITS JUST A WASTE OF TIME!

Quick by Kyle. I got a call from winston on 7/ytd and they said i might be the one who fits the job. After a phone interview with the real employer, i got an interview appointment today. I completed computer test, application forms and lax written "test", and body check within one day. I will be working next week and it seems so strange for me that others are having bad experience in Winston.

i understand that the economy is poor, however, the people in Winston couldnt find anything for me. I went to another staffing company and they found the perfect fit in 2 weeks. Winston staff members didnt even try to remember my profile, while everyone at the other staffing firm was very personable and it seems really wanted to help me find a job... Winston was a waste of time.

Didnt even get to come in for an in person interview and the male recruiter I spoke with was highly unprofessionally rude! Phone conversation didnt last no more no less than 2 minutes, not even kidding and I dont write reviews either. STAY AWAY. dont waste your time especially if youre out of state, their are better agencies out there.

I met with Fran at the agency in February regarding full-time fashion jobs. Within a week I had a good job offer, which Ive gladly accepted. Unlike some agents Ive dealt with in the past, Fran is very good with follow-up and giving advice. I am very thankful, and will definitely use her services again if needed. Highly recommended!

I got a response from them asking me to come at 1 pm but it was already 1-3 that day. Then they asked to see me at 3. It was 2:45. It is not a very organized company. How is anyone especially in manhattan able to get ready and go to a location when it takes at least 15 minutes to get to the office where they are located?
