I was so impressed with Mister Sparky. They came to my home when they told me they would. They even called me before arriving (this is very important to me because I have 2 dogs and it was so great to have time to put them away). When I answered the door I saw a man dressed in a clean uniform, big smile and looked me straight in the eye...then to my amazement he put covers over his shoes!! I have had so many workers come to my home and not care what mess they made. I was sold right there..LOL. Half my lights were out and I didnt know why. He proceeded to price my job BEFORE hand! To actually know what it was going to cost before the job started was amazing. I signed my approval and he began his work. He found the problem and then actually explained to me what it was was in terms I could actually understand!! He then informed me that my panel was in good shape!! I felt so comfortable. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Paul King has been doing all of our electrical work for several years and he absolutely outstanding as an electrician and person. His work is neat, clean and done to perfection. If Paul King ever leaves Mr. Sparky, I will be going with him. He is the best! Here is an example of some of the work he has performed. Today he is finishing up installing a ceiling fan in our kitchen where no outlet or fixture existed before. A very complicated job. He has redone and installed a new fixture in our dining room that was hanging on by a thread by the person who created the box previously. Our house is a split level built in 1954. He put in a whole house surge protector, provided wiring for a split unit, created new outlets, etc. Really a lot of complicated stuff. He thinks and plans out the job and puts down drop-cloths, etc. Everything is spotless when he is done. I cannot add more kudos!

Mr Sparky tried to rip us off and sell us something we didnt even need . We kept on tripping a circuit everytime we used the microwave and coffee pot. We called Mr Sparky and sure enough he did come on time. The guy spent about 15 minutes in the the basement, and then came up and told us we needed a new panel box. he also stated that if we did not change this panel box right away that we would have a fire,and the cost to change the panel was around $3000. We decided to call another electrician and get a second opinion, this man told us all we needed was a new circuit to the microwave, and when we asked the cost he told us around $250. So naturally we went with the second opinion,no more tripping circuit and the house has yet to burn down.

Just had my electrical service updated to 200 amps and had 2 circuit panels with surge protection installed.The electrician Nick came to my house at 8:30 a.m. Well I must say the quality of work and his expertise were excellent. He was very courteous and so was his helper. They finished the whole job by 5:30 p m. They cleaned up the work area and Nick showed me how to shut off the electric and reset the breaker if one tripped.What a professional looking job. Nick is obviously a highly experienced electrician and Mr.Sparky is very fortunate to have him in their employ.I would definitely use their services in the future.

I was away on business and my wife needed help. The power was off to our boiler during that polar vortex. I remembered seeing a Mister Sparky truck that said emergency service. I called 536-5700 and actually got a live person at 1am. All I have to say was amazing. I called and the electrician was at my house in less than an hour. He had a uniform on, smile on his face and he showed up when he said he would. I will recommend this company to everyone. The best customer service I have seen in a long time!! More companies should follow there lead. Thank you Mister Sparky, Oceanside!!!

I moved into my house in Oceanside after Sandy, I had lots of work to do and the first thing I wanted was to replace the electrical panel, I called Mr Sparky because they were local and they did a magnificent job, I liked their work so much I called them back again to wire and install ceiling fans and when I got my glass Greenhouse from Belgium I trusted them to wire it up for me, prompt, great service, friendly, workmanlike, fair priced, a pleasure to deal with, what else can you want, this is the go to place for prompt, courteous, efficient and reasonably priced work

have used mister sparky several times in the last couple of years...very happy with the service and the people servicing.......always timely and professional......they seem to get it right every time (the job gets done!).... most recently, paul k. came to perform some work......prior to that, uriel had come to our house twice (for different reason each time)....the first visit ever was by someone whose name i do not recall, but he was also terrific.....they are efficient but nice, friendly, and helpful as well. we highly recommend them.....

Recently, I had Mr Sparky at my house. Mr. Sparky charged for one GFCI receptacle 172 dollars. At Home Depot, the same or similar receptacle is 21 dollars. Also, one single pole switch is 91 dollars. Again, you can find the same or similar switch at Home Depot or Lowes. What the hell. This company is overpriced and they hide behind the 9 dollar a month deal where they will deduct a certain amount off the total. There pricing scheme doesnt make sense. Very bad company.

The Service Pro was Paul K, He was thorough and professional. He took the time to diagnose the problem and give me options with a solution. Although I feel the service is Reliable and convenient, it is pricey. As is any at home service, I did anticipate it to be a costly repair. The job is done, clean, neat and as I said the tech was very courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend, just be prepared for the Bill! :)

Phil K and his associate were professional and polite and most of all offered me honest and relevant pricing. They attended to all of my electrical needs which were extensive. Paperwork and I pad entries were accurate and it was a pleasure working with a national company instead of the experiences I have had in the past as a consumer vs a commercial customer.

Was just quoted over $700 for a 60-90 min job. Wouldve been over a grand if I didnt wait overnight for my estimate to avoid the $199+ "emergency fee." I see how my position appears to be dire but Ill light candles for another night and get someone here who wont exploit a family in our situation for a extra couple hundred bucks.

All the work that Antoni performed for us looks & works great. I would definitely recommend Mister Sparky and absolutely request Antoni L. to be the electrician on site.
