Haircut in Peekskill is like Pastrami in NY... literally every block have a hair salon or barber shop. Me and my girlfriend decided to do our usual smalltown upstate trip and landed us in this small hamlet. After noticing all the hair salons/barber shops I figured I might as well get a haircut. I googled the nearest barbershop and MainEvent popped out with a 4.9 rating. I figured why not? To keep it short. I had the best haircut of my life. Nobody took care of my hair any better than this place. My barber was Hugo (the owner). He knows what he is doing and would treat your hair like a baby, hes like an artist and takes his job seriously. The vibe is nice and the staff is friendly. So if youre like me a dude who goes to random places to get haircuts or if you live in the area and havent been to this place to get your hair done, you should definitelt have you hair cut by these guys....youll be doing your wife, girlfriend a favor. I actually hate this place because then I have to go to Peekskill just to get a haircut thqt would live up to my [new] standard.

Great barbershop. Just moved up to Peekskill and chose Main Event based on its reviews. Was immediately greeing by the owner Hugo and they sat me right after. Didnt catch the name of the guy who cut my hair, but his job was precise and just as i asked. Cool boxing decor in the place and well kept. Will definitely stop back here for my next haircut

Never a dull moment great barbershop! Great vibe and they just expanded their inventory! They carry hair products, cell phone accessories and even some electronics! Check it out! They have their own designated parking area and if your hungry the location is within walking distance of variety local restaurants with GREAT food!
