I have no idea how to describe what I want done with my hair, ever. So theres always that little bit of anxiety over the, "So, how do you want your hair cut?" Well, I felt it just a little bit less today with my first visit to Island Barber Shop. I recently moved, and needed a quick cut for a job tonight. So I came across this place as the closest available spot. I liked the review, detailing that it was a place run by a father and his two sons. That suggests pride in their work. And Im a bit old fashioned for under 40. My experience today? Greeted with a smile, given a few options to style, and 10 minutes later, was on my way out. It was the perfect solution to a process I find a bit painstaking. The back of the neck shave was a nice finishing touch. Definitely, my new barber, and worth sharing.

If your looking for inovation then this isnt a place for you but you will get a quality #2/#1 cut that seems to be just fine for me, only problem is that it can be a 10-15 min wait due too the barber taking his time....but I dont mind since he takes his time on all customers. They also do hair coloring and shaves but he does it with a mach-3, I wouldnt recommend that unless it was an emergency shave...nice people as well (Korean)

Me Myself didnt like It Cause They Dont Know How To A Shape Up The Beard Up .They Use The Machine With A Brush I could of done that myself . I Ask For A specific haircut they didnt even shape up the front part of my forehead and didnt even shave my face just left it alone like what barber shop does that.and price why they charge my young nephew the same price as me the one I go to dont charge me that

Been going here for almost 5 years. They always do the right thing with the head above my shoulders. Plus, they always finish it off with a back shave that is throughly done with a straight-razor. Run by three European brothers and their dad (I think theyre related, could be completely off on that one). This place leaves very little reason to get cuts at the mall.

I am a Barber with 50 years of experience and live is Las Vegas originally from Asbury Park NJ. with family on Staten Island. Dino has cut my hair over the past few years when I am visiting and he is TOP NOTCH. He knows his craft and has a nice personality. I highly recommend him.

The barber named Dino have me an excellent fade and was very friendly. I walked right in and didnt even sit down to wait. Excellent fade and friendly service from this guy. I highly recommend and will be back at this shop for future haircuts.
