I am from MD and my Father lived in OH where he died at home. My Father died on Monday Feb 4th and they was there to pick up my Dad after he died in a matter of minutes. I then called the next day about payment because I had never put down any money I just emailed them the paperwork, as I am talking to them they never pressed the issue about the payment, they said you can call me tomorrow and pay with a credit card or just mail a check. When I called back to pay everything, they still wasnt in a hurry for anything to be paid, but I did pay for everything that day. It really made me feel good to know they were more concerned about my Dad then money, which most places are all about getting their money. I then ask them if their was anyway to have my Dads cremation done before Friday 2/8/2013 so I could take him back home with me in MD. The answer was it usally takes 5-7 days, but we will do our best to try and make that happen for you, we understand the inportance in this. I called back on Friday and spoke to Robert to see if this had happened, Robert told me to be prepaird to come by at 4PM on 2/8 and he should have everything taken care of for me. Well, I showed up at 3:00 because I was already in that part of town and called Robert to ask what time he may be there, his answer was in 15 min and he was there in 15 min with my Daddy in his arms. It was so nice to have them get everything done in such a short amout of time. I left there with my Daddy in my arms and a smile on my face because Robert and Eric made everything so easy for me. This was a hard time for me because my Father was never married after my Mother and I was his only child, so everything was on me by myself to get this all done. Robert and Eric are the best and treat you with so much respect in this time of of lossing someone. If you ever need a Funeral Home to help you in anyway they can, then Grunn Funeral home is the one to use when you lose a loved one. I am so glad to have picked them as my Dads funeral home, I wouldnt have wanted it any other way. A big thanks to Robert and Eric.

I am beyond grateful for finding Grunn Funeral Home to provide services for my father who passed away suddenly. My father was very young and I was so overwhelmed with having to plan his funeral while grieving immensely. They are compassionate, professional, affordable, and so accommodating. They cared and spoke about my dad like he was important and like his life mattered and not like he was just someone who died. They even prepared my dads body in a manner that looked just how my dad normally groomed himself. They were nothing short of amazing. May God bless them and the work they do.
