I am new to the area and had a great first experience at this barbershop. I was immediately greeted and instructed to sign in at the front desk and shortly after I was offered a cold beer. I only had enough time to open a magazine and flip through the first couple pages before a chair opened up. The woman who cut my hair was personable but didnt talk my ear off with fake/forced conversation. I could tell that she was taking her time and focusing on on the little details.. Did a great job around the ears and neck. After going home and looking in my own bathroom mirror I cant find any missed hairs. Overall I had a really good experience and will be going back for another haircut.

Ive never been the type to actually chat with my hairstylists, but the people here are great. I cant afford the $65 a month to get my hair done, so I use box color. I do, however, splurge on high-quality shampoo. This is one of the only places that doesnt make me feel like a ghetto tightwad for doing so, they even compliment me on it every time I go in! Mandy tends to be the one I get my hair cut by most, and I love her. Shes super sweet and knows what shes doing. I wish I could tip her more, but, like I said, theres a reason why I use box color. ;)

I always have Amber cut and color my hair and am overly pleased every time. Sometimes I just tell her make me look good and she knows exactly what to do! The shop atmosphere is also AMAZING. From the music to the stylists, its hard to hang out and not be comfortable. Everyone works so well together; if Amber wasnt there the next time I drop in, Id go with any of their awesome ladies that work there! Makes me want to get my hair done ALL THE TIME! Thanks for making me always look and feel like a million bucks :)

This place is first come first serve which is fine. They said it would be a 1 hour wait. I ended up waiting an hour and 45minutes and then they started calling people who had arrived after me. I left with out getting a haircut because I didnt want to spend my entire day off waiting inside of bishops. I went to another barber shop in the neighborhood and got fast, quality service. So on the positive side I found a new place to get my haircut that was less expensive and I didnt have to wait very long.

Came in for my first time today and had Sandra cut my hair. She did a pro job of blending my thick curly hair into a comfortable shave and scissor trim. While I enjoyed a refreshing lager on the house she made me feel welcome and Im totally satisfied with my haircut. I should also mention the shop does ladies cuts and their trims were looking beautiful. Its a few dollars more than Id like but the free brew quickly washed that concern away as I watched Sandra work her magic.

I really like this place. It is a good alternative to the $60 hair cut I used to get. I bring my daughter with me who is 11 and has super long hair. They are great at cutting long layers in my hair and giving it fullness. They are really nice, and there are magazine pictures everywhere, so it makes the place interesting. And yes, I dont feel like a second class citizen because I color my hair at home.

Mixed feelings. They need to incorporate online check in like most other Bishops locations. Two barbers on staff is kind of a joke. Been waiting over an hour and still have two others in front of me. If I wasnt leaving town for a vacation then Id NEVER wait this long for a fade. However, with all that said, Amber is great. Shes the location manager and is a great barber. I give her five stars.

Horrible experience. Probably tried 5 or 6 times because it was close. Quality of cut was hit-or-miss. But the worst part was long wait times - like over 2 hours. They dont take appointments. It didnt seem to matter what time of day, or weekday / weekend. And $33 + tip for a "GI Joe" short hair cut seems excessive. All in all, overpriced for lousy service and hit-or-miss quality of cuts.

Probably the worst barbershop in the area. The wait times are very long and they usually give you the wrong time estimate. The prices are high and worst of all they do a bad job. Im not sure why people go to this business, they offer you a beer when you come in, I think itd be better just to get a good haircut, at a reasonable price within a reasonable time frame.

Loooooove this place. This is my one and only spot to go to for a fresh top fade. Great staff. Amber is my number one. Looooooove Kate and Bailey! Diane and Alicia make my day every time I come in. Free beer! I highly recommend Bishops in Hillsboro to anyone looking to get their hair did

Waits are generally an hour, if you are lucky. Staff seem unable to give you an accurate estimate of your wait, which means that you risk missing your chance if you leave the building. Not worth the price despite the free "beer". Picture below is with eight folks waiting for a cut.

Terrible experience! No one was friendly. They charged me $28 to run a razor on the back of my head for 5 min, and in the end it looked like a child had done it. She took no pride in what she was doing. Its a very sloppy job. Im going to have to wear a hat while it grows out.

Great first experience. I was greeted quickly and signed in, the staff was friendly and the place felt welcoming. Rebecca talked me out of making a bad hair decision while growing my hair out. Nice, neat trim and great beard shaping!

Bishops does a good job and the funky bunch that works here keeps it always interesting . The free beer is pretty cool but I usually go in before noon on a work day so I cant always enjoy it . A staple of the Orenco experience .

2 haircuts here by 2 different ladies. First one pretty good cut, 2nd was so-so. They sell Suavecito Pomade, so thats a plus, but you can find a better hair cut (with a real straight razor) at different actual barber shops.

Courteous service, good haircut, Bailey was super friendly, and as enthusiastic about my new haircut as I was. I went on a Sunday afternoon, and the wait was about an hour. Bottom line - solid service, but not amazing.

Curmudgeon Griznoid

Pitiful! Perhaps the worst shave I have ever received. They used a dull blade that drug across my skin and missed a number of spots leaving me a patchy mess. I wouldnt even recommend these clowns for dog grooming.

Pricey, but worth it. Phenomenal staff, music, and decor. A great place to go if you want something different done with your hair, or if you just want any haircut done well.
