Took my sister in for a pedi. The tech was 15 minutes late (ok it happens). We had 1 nail tech doing both of our pedis, again no big deal. She explained how she was pretty new, and by her technique, you could absolutely tell. She raked both of our cuticles back VERY aggressively, (ouch) and didnt bother to clip the dead skin away. She talked to us the whole time, as my sister and I were trying to talk to each other, and as for the rest of the pedi, it made no sense. She only used the foot file at the end of the pedicure only on our heels, did not use lotion on our legs or feet, let alone give any kind of foot massage at all! I still had mask on my legs. We left with the rough feet we came in with, and she took well over 2 hours! I understand she is new, but she needs someone to work with her on her etiquette (ex: her cleavage was pouring out of her tank top; her non stop talking/interrupting) and also her time management. Also I noticed she absolutely did not clean her utensils well at all. Not impressed, and probably wont go there again. On the bright side, the girl who checked us out and in was very polite and smiley, and apologized for the tech being late.

I think that in the fast paced, want it done yesterday world we live in, Charisma Salon delivers on many levels. I have stared going to Charisma on a recommendation from my best friend whose sister has been going there since it has opened its doors. My best friend now resides in Florida and her only regret is she cannot find a salon to match the service she gets here at Charisma. As for my own experience, I feel that Jenn (owner/stylist) and her staff are very accommodating to my needs. I have to reschedule every appointment I make because I never have a hard schedule from my place of employment. Not once has that been a problem, nor has anyone given me an attitude.The women who work at Charisma exude a professional yet approachable presence. My proof of the capabilities Jenn has as a stylist comes from the fact that at least once a day I get asked who styles my hair, I am more than happy to pass on the good advice from my dear friend, Charisma Salon!

Prep Elective

Today was my first visit to Charisma Salon. My roommate and my friend from school have both been here before and they loved it, so I decided to come here too. I absolutely loved it!!! My hairstylists name was Alex, and she did a fantastic job! I brought in a picture of the color that I wanted, and she matched it exactly. I did not bring a picture for the hair style I wanted, but she still got it exactly right from what I described to her. Alex and the girl at the front desk were both very nice, and professional. I am a 22 year old student, but the lady who was there before me was older (maybe in her 60s) and she loved her highlights and her haircut as well (done by Alex as well). I am very impressed by this salon, and the prices are really reasonable too. They even offer to get you a beverage! I am definitely going to keep coming here as long as I am in Erie.

Called on a Tuesday to set up an appointment for a blow out. Had a wedding on Saturday needed to be out by 1pm on Saturday. Called Saturday morning to see if I could move the appointment to an earlier time. They could not find the appointment, but did manage to get me in at noon. Showed up at 11:55am waited till 12:23 asked how much longer it was going to be, another 10mins was the answer. Knowing full well I needed to be out by 1pm, I could not wait. No call from the owner with an apology, the girl that was going to do my blow out had a horrible attitude, when I arrived she was sitting on the couch talking to her friend. And stomped off to finish her client up, so she would have time to fit me in. That didnt happen. Couch was dirty and so was the bathroom. Would never recommend this place, horrible customer service and dirty.

First time customer at this salon, I got a haircut with Cassie. She was very professional and friendly. She made suggestions based on what I needed. She proceeded to wash and condition my hair and then began cutting my hair. The haircut turned out beautiful. I also got a blowout. She used this really cool powder product that gave my hair a great amount of volume that held up for a long time. I will definitely be going here again!

Charisma is amazing. The girls are so approachable and down to earth, but also very knowledgeable, educated and professional. I have wild, curly hard to manage blonde hair and Liz has given my hair new life. Its finally healthy, finally getting longer, and she always finds a way to give me what I want without jeopardizing the health and integrity of my hair. 5-million stars to these ladies and their talent! Thank you!!

Really nice, low-key salon that lets you decide exactly how much you want from them. Anytime I go in just wanting a trim theres no feeling that they want me to do anything more complicated (expensive), but they can and will go all out if thats what youre looking for. My stylist, Cassie, is amazing and not afraid to tell me if something is a bad idea :-)

I literally just walked out the door and was so pleased, I had to write a review. Molly just gave me the best cut Ive ever had! It was EXACTLY what I wanted with the exception of my hair being too short for the highlights I wanted. I will be going back every single time just because of this! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!

The girls at Charisma are always friendly and make me feel comfortable. Jen is easy to talk to and understands exactly what I want! I feel like Im walking into my girlfriends house to hang out and before I know it I leave with perfect highlites and cut!

Loved my stylist Molly! Was very clean and welcoming even with some updates to salon being done. Molly rocked my balayage and I will definitely be going back. Everyone was so friendly and prices very reasonable.

Got shallac manicure... it was the worst manicure Ive ever received. Thank goodness I used a coupon, as I woukd have been upset had I paid full price. The only unfortunate thing, I have two coupons :(
