On 10/22/09 at approximately 9:45 a.m. I dropped off one coat and one jacket to Carville Cleaners. I needed the buttons repaired on the coat and for the jacket to be dry cleaned--as it had multiple spots on it-- and pointed out the spots to the presumed owner. I explained I needed to pick up said items by 2:00 p.m. because I had to be at the Philadelphia airport by 4:00 p.m. She took my items and assured it would be completed by 2:00 p.m. I asked multiple times to verify the time would be acceptable for her to perform these services and she just continued to say "Yes, 2:00", and took my items. When I returned to pick up my items the same woman/presumed owner barely spoke to me, grabbed my debit card and charged the items. Before I could even look at the items my card had been swiped and the payment made. I then looked at the items: the coat was fine, but the jacket did not look as if it had been treated; there were still spots on it. I politely pointed this out to the woman/presumed owner and she immediately began yelling at me--almost as if she knew I would question her regarding this issue)--telling me that she did not have enough time to perform the service effectively and that she would take it back to re-do it tomorrow. I calmly explained to her that was not acceptable and reminded her that I explained I would be leaving for the airport shortly, which is why I confirmed with her the service could be done in such a short amount of time earlier that day. I then asked for a refund for the jacket. She continued to yell at me loudly exclaiming how I was "inpolite, unmannered, uneducated, should just say thank you to her, to get out of her business, and to never return". The service that I received is unacceptable. Not only was the cleaning service not provided as was guaranteed it would, but I as a customer was very poorly and unjustly treated. I do not wish for this to happen to any other customer.

On 3/17/2010 I pulled my Calvin Klein dress out of the Carville Cleaners bag to find it beyond RUINED. The top of the khaki dress had been stained with large kool aid looking stains that I immediately recognized as irreversible. Upon going into Carville and bringing them my dress, I was literally screamed at by the woman behind the counter. She called me a liar, and claimed that I had since taken the dress to another cleaner who must have ruined it. I calmly pointed out that the dress still had her dry cleaning tags attached, her tissue paper stuffed in the arms, and her paper and wrappings still unscathed. After that, she stormed away, only to come back 2 minutes later screaming some more and telling me "NO REFUND!!" I am a professional and understand that accidents do happen. However, the way that I was screamed at and ridiculed by the staff at Carville was perhaps the best example of AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encountered. If you live in the King of Prussia area, I recommend the cleaners next to Wawa on S.Gulph Rd.

I had my wedding dress cleaned here. Unfortunately, I pre-paid. When I returned on the designated day to pick up the dress, it was not ready. Upon request, the counter person showed me that the dress was already to be boxed, but they were waiting on a box. The dress was not clean! I should have taken the dress then and demanded my money back. Instead, I have a dirty dress in a box and can only passive-aggresively post negative reviews. Oh, and I can never patronize this establishment again.

Went here to dry clean 2 tops and 2 pairs of shorts. The top had delicate stitching on it and one of the threads making a geometric design was pulled off when I picked it up. They did not take the precaution to be more careful with this delicate top. The shorts and other top were cleaned fine. About $5 for each.
