In need for a haircut I noticed a "walk-ins welcomed" sign on the door, so i walked in (10:20am). As soon as i go in one of the 3 the barbers (the owner) asked me did i have a appointment, i said no. Then he said Its was gonna be a long wait because he and his fellow barbers were doing appointments and he was booked until 1pm. I said told him ok because the barber next to him looked like he was almost finished with his client. When the another barber was finished with his client, he didnt even bother to talk to me or the other customers who were waiting to get cut as if he was waiting for an client he made a appointment with to walk through the door. After 45 minutes of waiting i left and went to a barbershop who was 2xs better than that place. Im not gonna rate their skills as barbers, BUT as far as professionalism these guys are horrible. How do you expect to grow your business and clientele If you have no respect for your NEW customers. If youre not a latino or dont have a appointment or not related to these guys in any way shape or form, dont even waste your time. They wont even acknowledge you. Stay away

I have been getting my haircut from Dominic (the owner of Hairwizards) for over the past 10 years. He opened Hairwizards about 3 years ago & has created in my opinion, the best barbershop in the city of Philadelphia. The atmosphere & amazing customer service that you receive from all of the barbers is absolutely top notch. As soon as you enter the barbershop, you are greeted and welcomed at the door. You feel a great family type atmosphere during all of your visits which is exactly why I continue to return for my haircuts here on a weekly basis. I recommend Hairwizards to everyone of all different ethnic groups, ages (young & old), male or female. Make sure you check out the Wizards for yourself & see why they are the best barbershop in the city!

Fun family feel without losing the cool vibe of a barbershop. Barbers are great with kids and they bring in a variety of clientele. The shop is always clean and designed with a wizard theme following the name. The barbers themselves respect each other and maintain a level headed environment with the customer in mind. Improvements occur here and there with the shop incrementally. Theyalso offer other products such as t shirts and hats with their HWB brand. Hair products are also offered. Hair designs are a specialty of one of the barbers. Appointments are encouraged as this barbershop is extremely busy. Walkins are however possible, go early!!!

My son and I sat in there from 5:30-7pm.. I Dnt even care so much about that. Hey its the barber shop and this not my first rodeo. What was very unprofessional and disappointing was that no one never relayed that in order for you to get a hair cut with design you have to have an appointment. There was a gentleman that knew at 5:30 that I was interested in getting my sons cut with a design. I didnt see a sign visually posted stating such policy! Professionally I believe some barber should have still serviced him and jus reiterated that designs are by appointments! Especially if you have the owner sitting right there. Poor business practices

As someone looking for a barbershop in the area i saw they do good work but they lose on customer service i Couldnt get a haicut or even someone to attend me i asked the one guy if i could get a haircut and he said he didnt know had to check his schedule then proceeded to clean his stuff and never bothered checking maybe they are a bit too hollywood me crazy thing is i would have paid well i always do but they never got the chance to find out because i guess they are happy with the clients they have. Dissapointing because i heard good thing about them

Yo true story I walk in to that barbershop today right and I ask one of the barbers how many people do have to cut and he replied and a disrespect way and said do you have a prominent I was no Im just pass,er by and he was ask the other barbers so I did and the other barbers was on the same note the other barber was on like some real disrespect note and I was like that how you feel fam like nobody wanted to cut my hair like I was thats crazy yo so I just walk out and I said to myself thats crazy smh

This place is truly a blessing!! Came in with my young son who has had bad experiences with barbers in the past and he did not want a hair cut at all but Chris at hair wizards came to the rescue. He was calm, gentle and nurturing to my son as if he was his own. Even with my son moving and not wanting to sit in the chair properly his cut still came out amazing. The place is clean and all the barbers where very professional. We will be back for many more cuts in the future.

Found this shop on instagram and very happy I did. I was nervous but when I walked in the barber at the chair closest to the door politely greeted me and offered me a seat on the waiting bench. It was smooth sailing from there. There were children and other women in the shop too so I felt very comfortable. It was definitely more of a family atmosphere. My barber was Dominic and my haircut came out better than I imagined. I will most definitely be coming back!!

I love the atmosphere. its a privilege to have Lou cut my hair he is a artists. As a woman in a barbershop it was nice to see all the fathers an sons bonding. I will go there in December made my appointment. It was nice seeing all ages and many cultures all together in one tranquil safe an friendly shop. Some of the young men spoke several languages. I took my 3 year old here for a haircut. hes had a ton of butchered cuts from every place hes been to until now. He sat very well Chris was great with him and did an amazing job no more messed up looking hair. He took his time and I got so many compliments on how good his hair looked. I was a walk in didnt wait long felt a little awkward but it was fine Ill definitely go back. This was about 2 months ago so Ill be taking him back this week.

I love hair wizards Ive been coming to Dom for 10 plus years when he was working for another shop. Hair wizards is the best shop Ive ever walked into. Very professional people, shop is always clean, neat and very kid friendly. I cant see myself going anywhere else for a cut. Best shop in the northeast hands down. I travel all the way from Gloucester County Nj. That speaks for it self....

Ive been there several times usually I have a good experience but recently I took my son in had a 6pm appointment and still didnt get seen til almost 7 cause the barber said he was running late when I asked him how much longer he gave me an attitude and told me he will get to me when I told him I had an app. He didnt even care. Disgusting
