Mark is unconditionally the best barber Ive ever been to. He knows your head better than you do - hell listen to you and do whatever you want exactly but if hes not sure its the look for you hell tell you as well as why. Thisll sound dumb but he really is an artist. Hes taken on some new blood to try and increase his throughput and from what Ive seen Im impressed. Even if Marks not giving you a cut that day hell give his input on both style and technique. That being said, the shop gets really busy. Its worth the extra couple of bucks to book an appointment for Friday or Saturday - shoot for two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Dont call on a Wednesday looking for a Saturday appointment unless you have a firm belief in miracles.

Mark & John are extremely skilled and highly professional; by far the best barbershop I have encountered in the area. The location is excellent, walking distance from the majority of Manayunk and nearby to numerous bars & restaurants. The shop itself has a fantastic vibe, including an N64 & Wi-Fi to keep you busy if there is a wait - though walk-in times have drastically improved since adding a second barber. Appointments are available on Fridays & Saturdays and are kept very punctual to avoid any inconvenience.

If you live in Manayunk and dont get your cut here, then your wasting your money. I didnt know Mark before he opened the shop and Im glad I tried it. He makes you look fresh everytime, its got that old time barber feel, and the price is a steal! Go check it out people!
