I was extremely happy with the service I received from Ki-Ra Salon in Newport. This is a highly referred salon, and I was curious as to the hype. I was able to schedule an appointment right away - I called on Monday for Tuesday. When I arrived at Ki-Ra, I was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. My stylist was well informed, and after asking me several questions as to what I was looking for got right down to making sure I was happy with my results. And happy I was! I love the cut and color I received from my stylist and definitely agree that the hype was well worth it. Their prices are reasonable and they have quite a few stylists working for them. I like that they are open 6 days a week (including Monday!), and open late as well.

Ive been going to Ki-Ra for two years now (at least 8 times per year) and have never been disappointed with my hair, the service or making an appointment. The salon has a really cool atmosphere and the stylists are incredibly talented. The stylists are on a level system so your cut would be cheaper with a less experienced stylist and more expensive if youre with an expert. I have had a low level stylist and an expert and was equally impressed with both. My stylist always has great advice for keeping my hair looking cool and healthy and I get compliments almost every day. I see men and woman of all ages at Ki-Ra and all walk out with great hair. GO THERE!

Short notice appointment and new to the area, I was a little nervous because Im normally very loyal to my hair gal at home but Im traveling a lot, soooo... Brittany did a great job with my root touch up and refreshing my color, and the salon was also able to do a last minute pedicure. Im very happy with both services. Thank you!

I came in for a Wedding from New York .. Needed my makeup and hair done .. I cant tell you how happy I was with the results .. Merrisa did my hair amazing job ... And my makeup was flawless I got so many compliments .. Def would do business again with them

Kim is amazing! Her shop is clean, the staff super friendly and the glass of wine during my evening appointment is just the icing on the cake. I have loved every cut and color in the year Ive been seeing Kim and I cant imagine going anywhere else.
